This has been a great addition to our kitchen. It’s well built, easy to use. We love the slicer which keeps us from getting different sized, off kilter pieces every time. It works really well. Good value for the money.

When you go to cut your bread in the slicer mechanism or whatever you wanna call it, your sharp knife will eventually start cutting into the plastic and when you start rubbing that knife up against the individual slots, it will cut and shave away that plastic with to me isn’t safe and probably will eventually end up in your bread.
