StarTech.com 2m DisplayPort to HDMI Cable - 4K 30 Hz - DP to HDMI Monitor Cable

After reading other purchasers of the DisplayPort to HDMI cables may not work, This one worked straight of the box. Plugged into the graphics card then the monitor, All worked first time.I'm only using a resolution of 1080. performance and quality of the picture is second to none.the quality of the cable and terminations are superbA little on the pricy side.

I bought this cable adapter to reproduce 4K@60hz@4:4:4 from my GTX 1060 DP to my 49X835C TV HDMI, but only support up to 4k@30hz@4:2:0.

I usually get excellent quality from StarTech cables and they have an amazing mix of various cables available. Sadly this cable simply was not recognised by 3 different computers (Dell, Mac, Sony) and monitor Dell.Also the cable is very bulky for what it is, so quite difficult to handle. Returned back to Amazon for a refund.

Lasted approximately 33 days, and may have been defective from the start. Apparently has approx 30 day warranty although this is not explicitly mentioned on the product page. Amazon does not provide an option to repair or exchange past this time and consequently my only option appears to be to buy another one and keep my fingers crossed that it lasts more than a month. Or perhaps I won't.
