Betabrand Women's Work-It Skort

I ordered this skort because I own the Betabrand Yoga Dress Pants (YDP) and absolutely love them. There are a few things buyers should be aware of. First, this is a different material, almost a "travel pant" material so it is not as soft as the YDP. Next, there is a small side zipper (the YDP are pull-on) that is long and a bit awkward to manuever. It was unexpected but not a deal-breaker. Finally, this skort is very long and not appropriate for a petite under 5'2". Betabrand's website suggests having it altered but at this price point, they should really offer petite sizing. Normally I don't need a P in skirts because I like them on the long side, but this fell far below my knees and the cut was large and unflattering. I am not sure if a smaller size would have worked but I don't want to take the chance because I don't want it to be too form fitting or it won't be suitable for work. For reference, I am a 0-2 and ordered a size Small as the YDP run small. Returning this for now.

I love this skirt!!! I love the shorts lining with the pocket, it's well made and incredibly comfortable. Fit true to size and I'll probably buy it again in as many colors as I can!

It was much shorter than it appears. I'm tall, so I hoped it would hit just above my knees (as it's knee length in the picture) but it was about 4 inches above my knee

The material for this skirt is scratchy and the fabric unforgiving. Would definitely be too uncomfortable to wear in the heat. Not at all what I expected... had to return item!

Zipper was cheap. Returned. Great idea really wanted to like. But the quality wasn’t there.
