Alternate use
I am using this as a headlight on my recumbant trike. I just used it to velcro it on the front post. It works great and is brite.

Extremly versatile, large battery
This is an extremely versatile flashlight, offering a very bright main beam that also has lower settings, plus a sidelight that also has a few options including cool white, warm white, red, and red/blue flashing. The clip is firmly attached, and is bidirectional so it can be placed on a cap, or any edge. There is also a magnet in the tail, strong enough to can hold the flashlight vertically or horizontally without dropping it. The head swivels, so it can then be aimed. Finally, it also has a shrieker alarm, and a UV front light.A star has to come off for lack of an instruction manual. Fortunately, the buttons operate the same way my V20 works, so I was able to figure it out. You may need to find a guide online. This will become my EDC flashlight. The battery is 2000 mAH, which is a good size for an EDC flashlight. A bit large for a keychain, it clips nicely in a shirt pocket.

Nice Flashlight to Keep Handy
I have kept this flashlight ready in my vehicle for the past 5 months. I found this light to be well built and reliable with good battery longevity per charge. I like this light because I don't have to purchase batteries for it. I simply charge the light via the USB port in my car. This is a good emergency light because it is bright enough to provide light for emergency repairs and still able to provide multiple colors for other purposes. Whether I going on a hike, setting out trash at night or checking my mail in late evening, this light has stood by me.

Wildly unintuitive controls, but after I read the manual, I found it a worthwhile light.
My first impressions are that I've never had a less intuitive flashlight. But once I got the hang of it, it's pretty OK. (Still not thrilled with the controls, but I'll learn to live with it.)Right out of the box, my first instinct was to click the power button. Nothing happened. OK, maybe double-click? Nothing. I'll try the lightning button. Nothing again. Long press the lightning button? The loudest alarm went off and I nearly dumped in my pants....OK. I guess I'm going to have to read the manual to figure out how to turn on my flashlight. That doesn't seem like a thing anyone should ever need to do.So here's what I learned:Ф① Power button main functions: The main mode 𝘪𝘴 double click, but it's a slower double-click than I was trying. Think "Press, Press" not "click-click" like a computer mouse.▻ Once in this mode, a single press cycles modes:1️⃣Low 2️⃣Medium 3️⃣High.▻ And a long press exits. Ф② Power button secondary functions: More settings are hidden behind a (slow) triple click.▻ Once in this mode, a single press cycles modes:1️⃣Red 2️⃣UV▻ And a long press exits. Ф③ Power button long press: One last power button function:1️⃣Turbo!▻ releasing the button exits. ⚡① Sidelight button main functions: The main mode 𝘪𝘴 double click, but it's a slower double-click than I was trying. Think "Press, Press" not "click-click" like a computer mouse.▻ Once in this mode, a single press cycles modes:1️⃣Neutral white 2️⃣Red 3️⃣Warm white 4️⃣Green 5️⃣ Red/Blue flashing (not a steady flash, but different patterns)▻ And a long press exits. ⚡② Sidelight button secondary functions: More settings are hidden behind a (slow) triple click.▻ Once in this mode, a LONG press cycles modes:1️⃣Charging mode (provides power to the attached output cable for charging your phone) 2️⃣Sidelight on while charging▻ And a TRIPLE press exits. ⚡③ Sidelight button long press: One last power button function:1️⃣Siren!▻ releasing the button exits. Surprises:▻ It glows in the dark! The sidelights charge up the body plastic and it glows green.▻ There is an undocumented sidelight-during-charging mode. (Outlined above by me, but not in the instructions.)▻ The flashlight remembers your last mode from all the double and triple click functions! ...Useful.▻ The UV light is better than I had originally assumed it would be. It's not quite a 365nm (or at least not very bright in that range), but it's closer than cheap UV lights usually get. It doesn't put out a lot of extraneous violet light, so You get good fluorescence without too much interference.▻ I must have missed the integrated charging cable in the pictures, so that was a surprise to me.▻ It's heavier than I was expecting, because of the big battery, I assume.Frustrations:It's one press to cycle and long press to exit all modes except charging mode. I don't understand why they would change it. It's strange to have to remember a different set of rules for one mode only.I made a little cheat sheet I included a picture of. (That did not come with the light)
