The skull and crossbones in this listing is metal. They also have clear plastic lenses and a sturdy frame. There is another listing for these glasses that is cheaper, but those have no lenses, a larger plastic Skull with flimsy frames.

Q: Will these fit on a 10 year old?

Depends more on how big his head is than his age. The width between frame arms is about 140mm (5.5inches). The frame arms curve inward but are flexible enough to grip on various size heads.

Q: Can you put prescription lenses in them?

I have not tried but, yes, it looks as though they can be dismantled at the temples to insert different lenses.

Q: Why can’t they make these as readers? Lol
