This product was highly disappointing. It stains terribly and the marks are impossible to remove, even with extensive cleaning. We ultimately repurposed it as a pet food mat.

I keep mine between the sink and the stove to keep it from staining the counter with water or grease. works really well for that. it absorbs water and is big enough but it will stain. couldn't scrub off stains from grease or spills. at least my counter is safe under the tile. it is pretty and thick, not flimsy. good value.

It dries fast but stains easily. It looks terrible after a few months of use.

The media could not be loaded. First off, we were surprised at how big this was. Luckily we have long counters ... make sure you measure this vs. your counter space to ensure it will fit without looking bad. It has a marble appearance from far away. Closer, it looks like wood painted like marble with a faux wood grain. It feels like a combination of plastic and ceramic to the touch.We used this to dry several varieties of items, as the pictures show. When water gets on the mat, it looks like a brown stain. That stain will absorb into the mat within 5 - 10 minutes. We use this for our glassware, expensive cutlery and other items which are not dishwasher safe. It is a lot better looking than a dish rack ... or a towel ... when it is on the counter.It is lightweight and easy to store if you have a long cabinet. Again ... this is much bigger than you may expect. We try not to leave dishes drying on the counter because it adds clutter, but sometimes there is no choice. We don't mind leaving this out because, while it will probably never be mistaken for real marble, it has a classy subdued look.Overall, for the price, we've always wanted one of these. I am still not entirely sure what this is made of. It's not stone but not plastic. It comes with an instruction sheet on how to clean it and a small, circular piece of sandpaper, which is used to take stains off. We like this and would recommend it to those who have adequate counter space. It's functionality is exactly what we had hoped for. I thought this was going to be a great replacement for my fabric drying mat but unfortunately it just stains over time and looks dirty. I wish there was a way to clean it but unfortunately there is not. I wouldn’t buy this product again.

I had it for four months stains really fast . It does dry but stains are diffcult to remove.

I have several dishes that I have to hand wash, and hated using towels to dry them. I didn't like normal dish drying racks and just felt they were unsightly when not in use.This solved that problem for me. I put the dishes on it, let them dry, and this thing is just there. It matches the decor, and being flat it's easy to stow away, too.I'd definitely buy this to dry dishes on, it's a great product.
