UPDATE: 2hrs later and it's working GREAT!!! I have NO complaints! I added a video for everyone to see! Makes me sad for the ones who get cloudy ones! I do have a suggestion, at check out you have the option to hide the packaging and I'm betting a lot of people do that, but i decided not to thinking if the delivery people can see what it is they may be way more gentle so I highly recommend not hiding the package! Don't know if that'll help, but it's worth a shot! I LOVE my lava lamp SO much! Never thought I'd be happy about my last one being broke lol! I just hope this one holds up as well as my last one cause I ran that one for over 24hrs at a time sometimes and it was fine never had an issue with it so im hoping this one is the same as I like to keep mine on all night it helps me sleep! Get you one! They are amazing! And this one does NOT run hot at all, slightly warm but I can leave my hand on it and it doesn't burn me so that's a huge plus as well! If I could give it more stars I would!! One more thing, the green wax looks much darker in the product photo, as does the blue liquid. But as you can see it's a very bright blue and neon green not the darker colors depicted! I LOVE bright colors so I'm obsessed, but just wanted to let people know in case that's something that would bother you! :) It's seriously great, highly recommend! Worth every penny! So, this was just delivered on my door step. The last one I had was a JAMBO 16" but my cat knocked it over and broke it so this time I decided to get an old school looking one that looked like the ones I had in the 90's as a kid. I keep seeing that the newer ones are better, but I decided to take a chance cause nothing beats the retro looking ones! Reviews have had me super nervous it would show up and be cloudy or wouldn't flow right or the bulb wouldn't work, but everything looks really really good so far! The liquid is super super clear! I plugged it in and the bulb works, now to just let it sit and wait to see if it runs right. I really really am hoping it does because this is my ultimate dream lava lamp! I love the hot pink(I've seen some reviews say the base/cap glow in the dark and some say you need a UV light, not really worried about that part though although if it does glow in the dark that would be super cute!!)and the blue with green wax(little worried because my wax looks bright yellow lol, but hey, as long as it flows properly I'm not worried about that either!!)but I got this specific one because of the blue liquid and green wax cause I knew those colors would give off such a relaxing vibe which is why I love these things so much, I watch them to fall asleep and they work like a charm! They're so relaxing! I haven't slept great since my cat broke my other one, so fingers crossed this works for me!! It looks really promising! I will update later tonight once I've given it plenty of time to heat up and get going! Super happy with it so far!

I got a lava lamp for a friend of mine that loved mine.. Hers arrived and when turned on It was so cloudy you couldn't enjoy its "burrbols". So went to the return department ordered another one asked for a replacement not a refund. The next day the lamp was there. It was tipped on it's side and was nervous it might be in the same shape and being cloudy again Much to our delight the lamp was perfect and so pretty. So I have to give it a 5 rating,due to how Amazon quickly handled the service and the replacement. I did not give a bad rating because we all know packages are not always handled gently. and tossed around, sort of like your luggage when your at the airport and you recognize your luggage and feel a relief cause the you know it made it,in one piece only to watch the handlers play catch with your luggage! So 5 star rating because the service agents handled it quickly and I had my return labels and she had her new lava light and its crisp and not a touch of blurry. thank you

came with a few scratches on the paint and the top cap was bent out of shape. its made from a bad material so it was easy to bend back. it also came foggy and wouldn't fix through cycling because modern lava lamps aren't made as well. was able to replace the fluid because i'm goated like that (note that this will void any replacement warranty). now that its fixed its nice, love the colour—perfect size/brightness for ambient lighting. but i'd personally avoid modern lava lamps unless you're prepared to potentially return the lamp until you get one thats not foggy OR if you're prepared to do some tinkering

Let me start off by saying this: This is a great brand. The only brand of Lava Lamps I care to spend money on, in fact. Even after this review of my experience this time around, the company DOES make good products and I'm still gonna buy from them, regardless of the experience I've had this one time. So as I said, I've owned lava lamps before. They do get cloudy after a while(many years). However, this one came cloudy. I ran it through cycles and then left it off for a few days for things to settle and no improvement. So its either close to 10 years old and the chemistry is all outta whack or someone gave it a crazy amount of shaking, to the point of no return. I'm gonna go ahead and void my warranty or whatever at some point and switch out the liquid myself. It's not super difficult and I've done it before but it is annoying and since I paid nearly $40 for it, I feel like i shouldn't have to do this after just receiving it. after 8-10 years? sure. but right after receiving it? absolutely not. I plan to order the orange wax, original base one at some point in the near future so hopefully that one wont be such a project. I'm not gonna return it cuz...well, im lazy and dont want to drive to the post office...but if they wanna send me another one, I wouldn't be opposed to it. Yes, I gave it 4 stars because I've owned this brand for years and this is my first issue with them, ever. I'm more than willing to give benefit of the doubt and blame the shipping process rather than factory defect or selling an old dusty lamp. These things happen and I will adjust and adapt without going to the post office to wait another two weeks for the situation to be resolved. If your lamp gets cloudy or comes cloudy, you CAN fix it yourself if you feel confident in your ability to do so but if you're unfamiliar with the process then don't do it. However, if you're not-lazy and don't hate driving as much as I do, have this issue resolved by sending it off and getting it replaced. They ARE indeed a good company. Sometimes these things happen though.

O produto é muito bom e atendeu as minhas expectativas. Porém, achei a luz um pouco fraca. Talvez um outro tipo de lâmpada seria melhor. Mas fora isso, é muito bonito e melhora a estética do quarto.

Simplesmente horrível, além de não ser parecido com as fotos disponíveis, o produto veio com a lâmpada queimada, tive que comprar outra lâmpada para testar o produto e a lâmpada nova também queimou depois de menos de 3 horas ligado que, diga-se de passagem, está dentro do limite de tempo que o manual de instruções indica. Em resumo: É um produto muito caro que não entrega nada
