FITS ALL KA Spiral Dough Hooks

Easy to attach and worked as described. I've had my Kitchenaid Mixer since the 1990s and did not know this was an available attachment. My only suggestion would be to make it out of a non-plastic material. Easy to remove and reattach for cleaning. Keeps the dough in the bowl, where it should be.

Absolutely love this addition to my Kitchen Aid. I always have my dough creep up the dough, hook, and get stuck in the handle. This attachment is really easy to add and keeps the dough down where it's supposed to be mixing. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who has this type of KitchenAid. mine is the 6 quart professional 6000 HD.

This worked great. I make bread a lot and have always hated the dough climbing up the hook. This solved the problem!

All I'm going to say is replace your KA dough hook with this S-Hook [also include a dough shield] and you'll be making 3-1lb loafs without any difficulty. Works like it should. In that it keeps dough off of hard to clean parts of my mixer. It is solidly constructed. One small thing, you can’t use it and the splash shield that comes with the mixer at the same time

I got this to use in my 8qt commercial kitchen aid because there is nothing to keep the dough from getting up into the where the dough hook connects to the spindle. I hated trying to clean the dough out after mixing a big batch of dough. But with this simple yet amazing product those days are no more. If there is any downside to this product it would just be that I'm not sure what the expected lifespan will be. The plastic seems pretty strong so I'm hoping it holds up.

Bought this early as a Christmas gift, someone else hadn’t checked it off, now can’t return.
