Changed my rotisserie game
So far really good. Great for rotisseries at home. Chicken came out very tender and juicy. So many compliments at dinner!I was initially worried about a burning/smoke issue that someone mentioned but I had no issues. I roasted for over an hour at 400 degrees. It seemed intimidating taking it out of the hot oven to wind it up again but I got the hang of it. I recommend using a grippy or a rubber mitt.Cleanup was not bad. Next time, I'll put the roaster on top of a sheet pan and line the drip tray with foil. Maybe throw in some veggies to soak up the drippings.Anyone who's ever roasted a chicken in a pan the regular way knows that cooking through one part often means sacrificing another (under cooked legs or dried out breast). The slow rotation of this roaster makes such a difference. I didn't even have to truss the legs. It's completely self-basting, not drowning in its own juices. It renders in its own fat instead of being boiled in a stagnant coagulating pool. All of the excess fat drips off but the chicken is still succulent.Glad I found this. Been looking for something simple that just rotates my damn chicken so it can roast evenly. You just wind it up, no wires or anything. And it's collapsible, I store it away in my cabinet. I should've gotten it with the basket so that I can roast other stuff. Can't wait to try it when I go camping.

Rotisserie Grilling Indoors or Out
It was packaged well and it went together easily. It fit my smallish Pit Boss Pro smoker perfectly and worked as advertised. It is rather tedious to wind the spring motor so after several usages, I cut off part of the winding crank tool and installed it in my battery powered drill chuck. I set the drill to 8 inchpounds torque slip setting and now winding is MUCH easier.I load up the basket with 3 to 4 pounds of food (chicken legs, BB Ribs, etc.) and add sprigs of fresh rosemary, fresh garlic cloves, and grape tomatoes, etc. , and let her tumble. Yum. Cleaning basket is a challenge, but that would be true regardless of the brand.First attempt at roasting green coffee beans was so so; the equipment worked fine but I got distracted and let them over-roast. Come on Bob, don't get distracted by shiny distractions!

Gearbox Smokes & Smells - Stainless Steel Unit
I purchased the stainless-steel unit. I'm not sure what materials are inside of the gearbox, but whatever it is, it smokes and smells badly. The rest of the unit seems to be stainless steel, but I don't think the gearbox itself should have smoke bellowing out of it and whatever that smoke is, it smells like burning plastic. I have inquired through Roto-Q's support to see if they can confirm what materials make up the inside of the gearbox, the springs, etc., but have yet to hear back. If you look on their FB page, you will see another customer complaining of the same issue. I'm worried my food is contaminated and also now my house since it's a nasty smelling smoke. I'm looking for answers and will update the review, if I happen to receive any from Roto-Q. Buyer Beware!

Amazinggggg!!! Easy, simple, fun!
The media could not be loaded. I've been using my Roto-Q 360 for a couple of weeks now, and I have to say, I'm so impressed. It's a breeze to set up, easy to use, the instructions are simple and easy to follow, there's a website and everything. The first thing I cooked was a rotisserie chicken and it was delicious, it came out perfect and juicy. I've always wanted to try making kebabs at home and it was amazing and FUN! Love it!! So, if you're thinking about buying this awesome gadget, just do it and don't pay attention to any negative reviews because it really is great and very user friendly! Highly recommend!!!

Update.Broke on 4th. Use, Update !!! Customer Service is very helpful.
I enjoyed using the Roto 360 until the spring failed. The Forth time I used it, wound it up ( using the thumb, finger knob, loaded a dozen chicken wing sections in the basket and placed it in on the Pittboss, pulled out the tab to start the rotation ran normally for about 5 minutes and then when into High Speed Spin cycle. It was spinning so fast it ejected the basket of wings onto the deck. Warranty doesn't seem to be an option. Very Disappointed.... Update ! After speaking with the customer service rep. at Roto Q 360, I have a replacement until in route. Would definitely recommend.Any product is only as good as their Customer Service.
