Been using Fram oil filters for 35 years. I’ve used them in every vehicle plus on my riding mowers. Zero issues or oil related issues.List of everything I can remember using Fam filters on. First car 81 Rabbit, 84 F-150 I-6 300 CID, 2 Saturns, Tercel, Sentra, Venture, Sienna, Camry, Rav 4, and Silverado. John Deere LT 180 17 hp Kawasaki with 1700 hours, and Toro Time cutter with 23 hp Toro engine. I’ve also used Fram black motor cycle black filter on Yamaha 50 hp high thrust outboard on my pontoon. I live in the Northland where it’s very cold, and drive all over the country in the summer heat. I take care of everything I own and use synthetic oils only.Ignore the ignorant knuckleheads that smack talk about oil filters. Go with Fram and don’t worry about anything. Enjoy your life.

Great filter for synthetic oil
The filter itself seems to be of high quality, and is rated for a long service life. I have switched from K&N to Fram Ultra on both of my cars now, as they seem to be a better value, at similar quality.Per manufacturer recommendations (see your owners manual), some vehicles now recommend one filter change per 2 oil changes. Especially for this type of application, I highly recommend a Fram Ultra filter.I did like the 1" hex not on the K&N filters, however, this is the only con I had when switching over from K&N to Fram Ultra. The K&N filters may take more pressure before bursting the case (how often does that ever happen anyway!), but the Fram Ultra seems to be similar in filtration and quality, and is less expensive.I only use high quality filters, and Fram Ultra is my new favorite.
