Great series.
Very enjoyable series with excellent DVD transfers! Trying to understand what actually happenend...
I followed the series of Inspector George Gently from the start, with Judge John Deed (also Martin Shaw) in mind, and love it till the end. Because I am afraid no more series will be added. This collection allows me to view back separate episodes whenever I like to do so. I only miss the Dutch untertitling....

While way the hours.
Well worth watching a brillant cast ,story lines are excellent., peroid detail is also excellently presented. I brought this for friends who spent many hours entertained by the whole series and they look forward to the next release.

Very entertaining series
Started watching GG completely by accident just before Christmas, I found it so brilliant had to buy the boxed set!!

Good but genuine Geordies will laugh a lot at the locations.
Excellent, but very confusing in parts, Durham coppers working cases in rural Northumberland, filmed in Ireland, Hexham by the Sea etc.,but, if you aren't a Geordie you'll not be trying to work out where they are...

Excellent 'who done it' series. Both Martin Shaw and the actor, Lee Ingleby who works with him are a very good team and both remarkable actors.
