Very fast.
Ok first thing, this is a big RC car however on this it is not a 1/5 scale it's more like a 1/8 scale, yes it is larger than a 1/10 by several inches so it is a good size. Build wise it's really a nice solid construction especially for the price. Great suspension travel and clearance so it will be good on and off road. I would recommend trimming the body behind the front wheels a little bit so it doesn't cut the tires when the wheels are fully turned and shocks are compressed when off roading. The motor and speed controller have cooling fans so the vitals will be cool. All in all a great value for the price. Lot's of fun. Very fast for it's size.

Wow! Hosim has upped their game!
The media could not be loaded. I am a long time RC car enthusiast. I’ve really enjoyed the hobby for over 40 years. I have a dozen hobby grade cars and still enjoy them with my kids. And I’m certainly not gentle with them and do my own repairs. So trust me when I tell you that I appreciate how much better the cars have gotten. I’ve had a few Hosim cars over the years too. I have been quick to point out that they have been doing great with the smaller scale cars, with room to improve. But this is the first one in such a large scale. 1:8 has long been the territory of the well-established ‘big boys’. Well, they better look out. This car is seriously quick with a forgivable amount of cogging. Tons of torque making it fun to pick the front wheels off the ground. And impressive how stable the car is, allowing for hard cornering. On flips, unintentional or not, the weighting allows it to land right side up.Liberal use of metal components on a 3s car is pretty refreshing. Obviously plastic has a time and place allowing for weight reduction and good shock resistance. But I like to see metal drive components and structural members. So you don’t think this is just a fanboy review, let me mention what could be improved. The battery life is not great. Largely because this is a heavy car and it has a ton of usable power. A larger capacity battery would be my first upgrade. And while this is a nice self-contained kit, I recommend investing in a faster charger asap. And finally, as mentioned before, there is some cogging. For the next version, that might be an area for improvement.Make no mistake, this is a well-designed, well-executed car. What a tremendous value for the price.

Very fast!! Lots of fun until something breaks. One major design flaw!
I purchased this RC truck for my dog to chase around. It is extremely fast and fun! Except there's one major major design flaw. The tires are so close to the body they rub on the fender when the wheels turn. You can hear the tires hitting the plastic body when driving it. I didn't think much of it at first until I noticed one of the tires getting cut open. This happened on just the 2nd time using the truck! I contacted support and they assured me there is no design flaw (lol). They shipped me a replacement tire but said it would take a few weeks to arrive. I continued to use the truck, just being careful not to give it too much throttle while turning to keep the tire from getting worse. This seemed to mostly work until the truck quit turning altogether. Upon closer inspection some screw or bolt came loose inside the chassis that controls steering. This all happened on 5 batteries. I decided to go ahead and return the truck seeing as to get to the loose part it would require taking a lot of things apart. I'm not as much an RC hobbyist to the point I want to be fixing stuff like this every 5 batteries. I just want to drive the RC in my yard for my dog to chase. The truck looks extremely high quality inside and out, and has a LOT of power. If you have the time to take it apart and fix things regularly, this is probably and excellent RC. But they really need to fix the body design. I imagine Amazon will be getting a lot of returns due to the plastic slicing open tires.

Very fun
Very fun car to run just the front bumper and the wheelie bar break easily so looking to find them in metal it is listed as a 1/8 mini it should really just be listed as 1/10

Looks expensive Is junk though
Absolute garbage! It broke down the first day I drove it. It has been working on it the entire time I’ve had it. I think I’ve worked on it more than it’s driven and customer service is very rude. For the seller. Send pics soon

Highly Recommend
Recently bought the x15w and loved everything about it. The x27 is a much better car and so glad i bought it. I.ve seen videos in the past with the center diff being too tight but at least my car doesnt have the front tires baloon, i feel like the torque is more evenly distributed. Ty for providing such a cost affordable car for us folks that dont have a bunch of money to enjoy.

Handles well but breaks a lot of main drive trans parts even with the stock battery.
Great car that handles well at high speeds. Unfortunately, the gears and not made of very good material. I bought two of these exact same cars and use one for spare parts. I only use the stock battery and do not even turn the speed all of the way up and the main drive parts keep breaking. I have had to replace TWO of the NEW SPECIAL heloc rear end differentials, one transmission, one motor gear, and one bent drive shaft. All of this at the park with my kids in an open flat field. NO reason that with a stock battery that the car came with and not turned all of the way up on the speed should those parts be stripping out and breaking. It is as if the metal cannot handle the torc of the motor. I still give it three stars because I have owned a lot of cars and this one with new parts handles amazing compared to the smaller scale cars at top speed. I also thought maybe I just got a bad car out of a bunch of good one which is why I bought a second one. BUT NO, the same thing happened but more complex and expensive parts busted with the second one. After all of this I should have just bought the cheaper ones that I bought my kids that go just as fast but do not handle as well. At least neither of them I broken any serious parts and they run theirs into everything and almost never break. My advice is if you by this brand stick to the 1/10 size and smaller.
