Small amount of useful information. As stated in another review, this is mostly a catalogue of information that can easily be found online and will quickly go out of date. I'd return it if I could be bothered.

Good basic and informative book

Maybe I just expected something more scientific but this book was a bit of a disappointment to me. The bulk of the book is basically nothing more than an extended catalog of available optics (in the USA ). No effort was made to give the reader any insight into the physical optics that makes each of these instruments work or how to apply them to the sport of shooting, no explanation of important aspects such as adjustable objective, parallax, frontal plane optics etc. The title misled me to expect a more scientific educational content, that would teach the reader some useful practical details. If you would like to page through an optics USA catalog then go for it, otherwise if you want to learn something useful about rifle/shooting related optics this book is a not worth your money.

Hola, Un libro ciertamente sin muchas pretensiones ,de ningun tipo.Lo de siempre en formato grande...No se si es que no se ha revisado hace tiempo o que, pero el caso es que no aporta mucho del mundo optica, donde aprece lo de siempre.Lo dicho, no lo puedo recomendar.Gracias
