Leatherman quality very useful item to have in your house

Great for handymen and laymen
Positives -1. Much needed needle nose and bolt pliers in a small package. Great for handymen and laymen.2. The blade seen in the pictures, gets locked in place when deployed, thus eliminating the risk of blade closing on our fingers. There is a little lock symbol seen under the stem of the blade, pressing of which would allow us to fold the blade.3. Belt clip is a refreshing thing to have, keeps the tool secured and free from any interference with other things in the pocket. I moved from Victorinox Spartan to Leatherman Rev.4. The quality of the blade is fantastic. It is pretty stiff and will hold up all sorts of abuse. The design of the blade is mostly what sets it apart from others. More can be learnt about this on youtube videos.Negatives -I wish it were lighter. Which isn't possible for this price range. Silly me.

Product is good but there are no service centers in India
There are two parts to this review, one is for the actual product and other is for the after serviceProduct:Pros:1. Excellent quality of the steel used in the pliers and blade2. Blade is locking3. It is of good size and medium duty EDC equipmentCons:1. Do not use it as a pipe wrench or heavy duty tool, if you do things will break2. File is too small, scale is also too small, there is no real point in having them if they are so small3. It does not come with spring loaded action so it can be turn off for few people, its elder brothers have that which cost Rs 400-500 more4. It is not one hand draw tool, you have to use both hands to draw bladeNow the service partPro:1. It has 25 years of solid no questions asked thing going onCons:1. You will have to pay for shipping, which exceeds price of the product sometimes2. If you ever use this product, it is likely you will need to service it and that can be a problem as there are no service centers in IndiaPrice of the product is high enough that even Victorinox is put to shame, which is actually better EDC tool unless you are talking about Wave modelI had to return it when I realized that, just bought pliers and keep them with my EDC victorinox huntsman
