It’s a good product to have

Takes a lot of time to pour water in the top cup (not the top tub)
Everything is good, even the purified water taste, the only negative is the water filling system, you can't pour more than 500/600ml into the top cup before it's passes through to the upper tub. It's very slow and Irritating as it is a manual process as it is a gravity purifier.

Look before you buy
Kent's non-electric purifier is satisfactory so far. But one has to keep in mind that eventhough the capacity of the bottom storage tank is advertised as 10 liters, it actually stores only 5 liters of water. The reason is simple. The design of the Kent non-electric water purifier is faulty. The filter cartridge is kept hanging in the lower storage tank. So the filtered water drops from the upper tank to the lower tank due to gravity. Now when the lower part of the hanging cartridge is submerged in the water, the force of the dropping water is not enough to overcome the half-filled tank. So water stops dropping from the upertank into the lower tank. As a result, lower tank always remains half-filled only. Hence, one will get only 5 liters of water for use at any given time, eveif the upper tank is fully filled up. The second point to keep in mind is the taste of water. It tastes tasteless. May be because of the use of activated carbon.

Small size good big size has storage issues
Faced lot of issues from day 1. Contacted customer support in Sep got reply in Dec last week. Everyday got gentle response from company and every time I had to explain the same history and problem. At the ens they said ‘we cant arrange a eng to your location for this product, you need to take it to the nearest centre.’ After al this a family friend helped us resolve the issue and finally got it working Also the upper container fits inside the lower container, hence the lower container capacity gets reduced. Upper container is very small have to keep refilling the container frequently to fill the lower container completely

Not expected from kent and I think I have wasted money on this worst product,water flow rate is approx 1 drops in 2 sec ,i have cleaned it 5-6 times since last two months after purchase still same condition after 3-4 days. Earlier i was using HUL pureit and never faced such issue.I won't recommend this product
