Works as it should
Works good for throttling my external fuel pump in installed on obs suburban. The pump put out to much flow that I couldn turn down my external regulator enough because my return line was not big enough to handle the pump flow . Long story short put this in so’s I can slow pump speed down works great U can probably use it as a anti theft devise also if u needed to

Great product but heat sensative.
The PWM worked very well until the dial was exposed to the high temperature of hot glue to hold it in place. I went through two of these before I realized how temperature sensitive they are. Just keep the hot glue and soldering iron away and all will be well.

Additional circuit protection may be needed
This motor speed controller works as intended, but note that even though there is a dual diode MBR in the circuit it is only rated for 100V peak inverse voltage. This may not be enough for 24V+ applications, and a peak inverse voltage spike higher than 100V can kill the MOSFETs in this controller. You should add a flyback diode to the motor (see picture) with high reverse voltage protection (> 200V) and fast switching (< 100ns) to your motor's contacts. Do NOT use the slow switching 1N4007 because it will melt when the motor stalls during lower duty cycles. If the motor always runs at full speed when connected to this controller regardless of the potentiometer's position, most likely the resistance between drain and source (pins 2 and 3) on one or both of the MOSFETs has broken down due to a voltage spike. To test this, turn off all power to the controller and motor and check the continuity between drain/source (pins 2/3) on both MOSFETs with a multimeter. If there is continuity, the MOSFET is dead and the controller will not work.

Good for all sorts of projects
It doesn't have very much drive at the low end, so as a motor driver, it is really only good for about half the knob range. As a light driver, it is flawless. Simple to install and wire, and does the job. Used it to fix an old Dremel-brand jigsaw. The motor controller had burned out. This controller, paired with a laptop power supply, brought the saw back to life!

Not durable!
It only last for a while, after that the potentiometer stops working making it impossible to control the speed. Gets stuck at max.
