This tank is the perfect size for a nice shrimp and snail tank. It’s a good build quality and doesn’t deform or leak at all. It comes with a filter and plants but I choose to use my own filter I had and use real plants since I was going for a more natural look. But the filter it comes with works well and the fake plants they give you are nice too. The lid construction is nice as well with the built in lights that is perfect to use for a normal fish tank setup with 3 color modes is a nice touch as well. Overall this is a perfect tank for anyone wanting to make a cute shrimp tank as it is only 2.2 gallon tank the shrimp love it!

The media could not be loaded. Setting up this Tank Aquarium was super simple. My son always wanted a fish as a pet. It's a great little kit and comes with everything you need, 'cause I'm clueless about setting up fish tanks, this one I had no issues putting it together. And it is a perfect size for beginner, really like the looping light that highlight the vibrant colors of the fish and creats a calming ambiance. The temperature display makes it easier to take care the fish. It looks great and is really quiet.

I should've read the reviews first. Yes it's a nice well made tank but do not put a beta in this tank. As soon as I put my beta who I've had for 2 years, he immediately stopped eating. The suction is way too strong for a small fish and the air bubble feature probably didn't help. He was healthy and beautiful and started going down hill. I turned the air bubbles off and tried to put plants close the suction gaps but no matter what i did he just wouldn't eat or swim around and when he did it pushed him around and scared him. He was in this tank for 2 weeks and died yesterday. I just don't think this tank is safe for a beta. I didn't change his food, I kept his water at temp and clean filters the same way for 2 years so I really don't think it was something I did. I dont understand what happened but I feel horrible and can't recommend this tank for a beta.

This is a good tank, but the filter is very strong, a bit too strong for a betta fish. Betta fish prefer a lighter flow of water, this one pushes my betta around and his tail sometimes gets caught in the filter and i have had to turn it off to free him. Also the plastic plants that come with the tank are not appropriate for a betta fish, so do not use them if you have a betta. I bought a bag of 5 lbs of rocks, which was a good amount, definitely on the fuller side. You could do with 4 lbs of rocks. Also, I bought a little cave for the fish to swim around in, but the top of the tank is not removable, so it does not fit, so you will need smaller items if you want to add items to the tank for the fish. I also thought that the instructions were no good, though it was fairly easy to assemble, still would have been helpful to have better instructions.
