Needed a cordless impact driver that did not have the clunky-sized battery at the end of the handle like most of the ones on the market. Also wanted it to be a hex impact driver as all of the "chuck" units that use traditional drill bits and other tools do not hold their "grip" on the round bit as effectively. Anyway, this unit was exactly what I needed to get into narrow and confined spaces easily and had the power, speed and battery life to get all my projects completed. The functionality and durability of this impact driver allowed me to get into tight spaces and continue to be productive at my job.

I purchased this as a homeowner who does the occasional project. I was concerned that it might be underpowered since it's 16v and much cheaper than the name-brand competition. It even comes with two batteries a charger and a nice set of driver bits all for about the price of one Dewalt battery! Now that I've tried it I can say it's not underpowered at all. I can't imagine needing more torque than this for those 1/4" shank bits. It drives drywall screws into solid pine quickly and with almost no effort. It's small and light yet feels well-made. I like having a lighter battery in the tool with another one in the charger rather than managing a bigger/heavier one. The grip is comfortable and the controls work smoothly. As long as it proves to be reliable I think this SeeSii 16v brushless cordless driver is an amazing value with more power than I'll ever need. Especially when Amazon has a coupon available! Time will tell but so far I'm very happy and would highly recommend this for noncommercial use.

If it were possible, I'd give this new 1/4" SeeSii impact driver 6 or even 8 stars. THIS is a GREAT tool! It's design and ergonomics are outstanding! Even the design of the grip, being a corrugated or checkerboard or textured style, really enhances a nice feel and a very secure grip WITHOUT having to squeeze hard to hang onto a tool while it's working its hardest to do its job. The weight is very minimal for the stoutness and durability. And that makes for easier continued use without fatigue. The LED provided work light is minimal but works. Bit changing is made quite easy with the actuation (pulling) of the spring loaded collar. And the bits themselves are of what seems to be, very decent quality material and are nicely made. The plastic case is actually a very nice case with foam inserts for preservation of the tool and components while in transport. As seen in the ad, this "kit" is a fully accesoried and COMPLETE tool. Two batteries, a charger, the tool and many assorted screw driver bits, socket-bits and even some drills. All for a whopping $69.00!!!!!!!!! You can't beat that!

I’ve only ever used Dewalt and Milwaukee but decided to get one to have around the house, I was super impressed by the power and quality on this thing! If you need one for actual work as well this one can keep up with the big dogs!

Everything chucks out with this driver. Solid materials, responsive trigger, and better than expected battery life. Only one slight knock is the direction button sticks out so your finger makes contact with it when using it due to the shape of the grip. Haven't accidentally pushed it in yet but it's something you're conscious of while using it.

I use my makita tools for larger, heavy duty tasks. I moved up to the xgt line and love them. However I quickly that they are very poor at doing light duty tasks, no matter how low the settings are. My 40v impact on it lowest settings can drive a screw straight through 1/4 inch material in under a second. The adjustable trigger and carefull use of it is the only salvation there. I've been using a black & decker impact for 5-6 years on my light duty stuff, but it's very bulky and over sized because it's an old fashioned brushed motor. This seesii drops a good third of the size off the b&d, and the battery is entirely in the grip instead of hanging off the bottom. The is fantastic for working inside cabinetry that's made of thinner melamine or mdf. It's not so over powered that I can instantly blow a hole through it from a screw, while working blind. Home arcade machines have become a big hobby for me and my other tools just aren't ideal for that, because of cramped space inside that can make you work blind of fragile material. This it's great for that work. The biggest drawback is the batteries. They aren't the longest lasting, and can take several hours to charge. But given the price vs size and performance, I'll take it.
