Adhesive Dash Car Phone Holder Kit with Universal MAG Adapter for Smartphones

Spendy but excellent product !

Seen this all over my Instagram. Most over rated and over advertised product on the market. Not as sturdy as advertised, the locking mechanism is horrible and the adhesive tape that's provided is not sticky at all.

I have the quad lock on both of my Harleys and on my side by side. They work GREAT! This one for the truck. Not so much!! The 2 sided tape wouldn't stick so I replaced it with 3m HD tape. The plastic is so thin in the mounting area that it bent and flexed when I put the Galaxy s22 on it. It came with a magnetic phone back but the mount itself has no metal to magnetize to. After about 3 times of putting the phone on it, the little tabs that hold the phone began to were out so the phone would not stay in place. Come on Quad Lock!!!! I know you can do better!!

I like all my QL’s but the adhesive on this one only lasted a couple of weeks.

The only reason I bought the quad lock system is so that I could use my phone on my motorcycle while riding. Although It is pretty difficult to find the slot to twist on the phone, it holds well once you got it locked in. My biggest issue is that, because it is a proprietary design you have no other choice but to use their system for charging at home if you don’t want to plug in the wire. I bought both the mag charger and this mount. I would be ok with having to pay at least double for their products if they work well but this mount is definitely not worth the money. It feels cheap and the adjustability is the worst ball joint adjustment I’ve used in recent memory. You basically have to completely unscrew the adjuster to get the joint to even move. It is also super bulky. Just horrible.
