The media could not be loaded. Great little ultrasonic cleaner! I've previously only used the real cheap fake "ultrasonic" cleaners that another review mentioned where they just use the sort of weighted motor you get in phones for haptic feedback - and sufficed to say they were utterly useless. Came across this one recently, and it's fantastic, especially given how cheap it is for a real ultrasonic machine. Worked wonders on my glasses. Perfect size for small jewellery, small electronic stuff (with care obviously - I make custom PCBs which I like to clean up), and of course, glasses. It's not as loud in person as my video would suggest, it's an acceptable noise level. Looks like "smoke" coming off my glasses but it really is just the gunk and grime that would otherwise be impossible to clean without a cleaner like this!

I bought this ultrasonic cleaner primarily to help clean my watches Milanese strap. It does a reasonable job at that; each time i clean my strap it does a better job at getting out the debris from the links. The metal reservoir can be filled with water or alcohol. It has also proved great at cleaning my glasses; in fact it surprises me how much it deep cleans them - including the plastic that holds the lenses in place and nose pads etc. Cleaning the strap is made easier thanks to the plastic jewellery stand that comes with the unit; i take the tray that you can see in the photos out and replace it with the holder and the strap is Deep under water - and i can put the lid on.The controls are simple; there is a button that increases the time up to 10 minutes; and a power on / off button. There is a lid to stop any accidental splashing - and this fogs up in use so the water is getting warmer if you have temperature sensitive devices - and especially if you are using alcohol in the bath - you may want to monitor the temperature.When its running the unit isn’t silent there is a constant ticking sound.

I got this as a replacement for my old cleaner that We’ve used for 6 years, for a cheap product I wasn’t expecting a lot but I was massively surprised, I would say it’s a good 50% better than our last one so now I’m annoyed we put up with using that for so long. I was worried about the size as the pictures make it look massive but it’s compact and the perfect size for our needs. The display is easy to use and set and forget. I even like how the wire is recessed so you’re less likely to catch it or get it wet. Overall very happy and will not look back.

This cleaner was really good at cleaning jewellery and shaver heads, clearing up gunk and dirt very well when combined with a detergent. This is actually ultrasonic (unlike a lot of cheaper devices you find on Amazon), which can be confirmed by dipping kitchen foil into the bath whilst it is running and checking for tiny holes in the metal. Unfortunately, I believe my unit was faulty, as it started smoking after a few repeated baths. I don’t exceed the guidance notes and left the recommended breaks between activations, and this shouldn’t be confused with spray that is created by water essentially being vaporised. There was a distinct burning smell, but I could not locate where it was coming from as nothing visibly melted. However, I believe I just had a faulty unit as no other reviewers appear to have reported this issue. Other than this potential burning, the cleaner worked well so was happy with the actual function of the device

So it worked fine at first but now just over two months in the water has been energised. It isn't actually earthed at a guess and the water has probably got in there and bridged something inside. I would avoid and get something better built!
