I found that after the prep for a colonoscopy, my digestive system was off kilter. Drinking a cup of plain Kefir each day has made me feel much better and stronger. It is delicious.

I would never buy that brand kefir. Tasted like mold and old rugs 😒

This is not real kefir ,but rather sweetened yogurt blended with kefir culture. I bought Lifeway kefir because they were out of Helios kefir at Whole Foods. The thickness of the Lifeway kefir is about the same as Helios, but the feeling is Lifeway is much more homogenized, sweet, and not at all effervescent, as kefirs should be. If you are looking for real kefir, Lifeway is a poor substitute.

I have not tried the plain one but the berry one taste very good. I found them on sale at Kroger's and bought 6 bottles. They taste like yogurt but a little bit more sour. And it is liquid. Love it and would recommend. But the original price is way too expensive, I think. 3$ a bottle is would be about right.

I like this product because it is very nutritious and is a great addition to any diet. It is similar to yogurt because it has live bacteria cultures but it isn't as thick. It lasts a good time and can be used in many meals or snacks.

Okay, I have no idea how this ended up here, since I reviewed the KROGER brand of plain kefir… the Lifeway brand is great! For the Kroger brand… this stuff weird. I have had many different brands of plain kefir and have never been so attacked by a cloying fake sugar taste from onset to finish. What the heck is “natural flavor”!? No sugar added but something makes this product chemically artificially cloyingly sweet… just horrid
