Like the title says, I haven't had an opporunity to try it out (let's be honest, no matter what brand you buy they're a pain to clean and dry), but this looks like a good quality replacement bag. It's nothing special, but for the price I was impressed that it has both a cap and a locking mechanism. Everything seems to work, but obviously I can't attest to its watertight-ness. The bag doesn't smell wierd, so I'm not too concerned about any weird tastes, although I'll give it a good wash and rinse beforehand to be safe. I bought this to receplace a bladder in a backpack from a different brand and it fits perfectly. I'm really impressed with the affordability, color range, and compatability with both this brand's bags and backpacks from other companies.

There really is no flavor but if there is only a little bit of water left then it will have a slight plastic taste of course just like any of them. But the quality and price is great would definitely buy again!

Good for value. See if there are directions, which I did not see. The valve is a little funky, so try it on a walk FIRST. The valve twists open and shut AND you have to push up on the thing to unlock.

Had to replace my old water bag and wasn’t sure if this would fit and It worked out perfectly in my backpack. Great size for my whole family to use. Easy to turn on and off. No leaks or spills.

Mine had a leaking issue, I wasn’t able to return or exchange it, so not sure if this was only defective or not the best brand.

It fit great in my book bag. Nice wide opening for cleaning. But the plastic taste it gives my water is almost unbearable. I had to put lemon in the water to cover it.

Even after multiple cleans the plastic has become more brittle and despite cleaning and taking apart and using a tablet everything smells. I don't trust the plastic used.
