Hanes Men's 518t Asymmetric

The best tee ever.

I have several of these. One of them goes on first thing in the morning every day of the year. Been that way for years. They wash incredibly well. The cotton is thick. The XLT is the tall fitting. I am 6’ 2” and I don’t like the ordinary T-shirt length that just covers my belt. These are comfortably long but not excessively so. They don’t ride up over your belt when you reach for something. They are the length of a good shirt. They are close-fitting (ie, not like a ship’s sail) but yet not restrictingly tight. I carry a bit of extra timber and I think they’re ideal. The navy fabric is soft from first wearing.

Comes up bigger than uk sizes. Wish I’d gone for a size smaller Other than that perfectly fine.

Wanted a good quality t-shirt that actually fitted me, and that is what I recieved. I am about 5'9 and ordered a medium. The t-shirts themselves are not exactly a thick material, but they're not thin, they feel smooth. If there was one thing I would say, it's that they are a tiny bit too long on the torso, not as bad as some t-shirts that claim to be a medium, but it would be the perfect t-shirt, if it wasn't just that inch too long on the torso (but this is just my preference, I prefer a shorter torso length on a t-shirt).

The material itself and collar are nice and thick however they fit too tight and the length is too long. Hard to find decent cotton tees these days.

Hanes Beefy-T shirts are comfortable to wear. I bought my first ones about 1985 and can vouch for the fact that even now I still have a few of these T-shirts and after hundreds of washes, they are still in good condition (a bit frayed from use). The collars are knitted and always seem to retain their shape where other brands sag at the neckline. These are still my favourite T-shirts of all time!

HANES ist eine Marke, die nur in den USA weitverbreitet ist, was schade ist, denn sie ist gerade für etwas "kräftigere" Menschen das Mittel der Wahl. XXL entspricht dort nicht L sondern meint XXL. Abgesehen davon sind sie von hoher Qualität und halten die Farbe ewig und die Nähte sowieso. Nach 10 Jahren dürfen sie dann mal etwas "ausgeleiert" sein. Das entspricht dann aber 1,70€ pro Jahr tragen. Besser geht nicht. Für fashion victims natürlich nicht geeignet, da keine Klunker und Bändchen dran sind und auch kein Firmen-LOGO. Ist nur drinnen. Also was für dezente Wohlhabende mit Verstand und Sinn für Ökonomie, denn nur schlichtere Menschen verbrennen ihr Geld mit Klamotten.

People saw the shirt and thought it was huge. Then I put it on and they went, woah! It isn’t giant. It actually fits you. The heavier weight fabric makes it a nice shirt to wear alone too. I’ll be buying more definitely. Shrunk just a little in the drier, but that was exclectes a tad. A little tight around the middle, but didn’t really change the fit.
