Sturdy & superb quality
Have had this mat for a good few months now and it has been though some abuse, even accidently slept with it pressed against a pretty sharp metal grate all night and nothing happened to it. Large and sturdy enough for a 6ft2 18 stone lump like me to be perfectly comfortable and supported on.

Game changer!
Used to tent camp loads over the years but I’ve been spoiled by having a classic camper van with 4 inch foam mattress, so when I went back to proper camping and dug out my old Thermarest self inflating mat I was in for a shock at just how uncomfortable it was in every way and how little sleep I got. Awful. I’m no youngster any more but honestly I was awake most of the night. So I did some research and got one of these. First off inflation. This has a built in foot pump. It does take a while, and it is a bit noisy at times, sounding like a wounded animal every now and then. The first time I used it I inflated it at home a day before and weighted it overnight to prove it would hold air, then used it several times with a new tent in the garden. Also I found that there’s a sweet spot where it’s hard enough to stop you sinking through not and soft enough to be comfy and not roll off it, this is important so you’ll need to gauge that for your own weight. It stayed up several nights without losing any air. I’m 6’1” and 80kg and chose this one for the width as I find I can roll off a narrow mat, and was pleased with my choice. The raised edges also help with this as they hold you in a bit. The built in ‘pillow’ is also useful, although with broad shoulders I added a folded fleece under a t-shirt pulled over the pillow part, which worked fairly well. The surface material is a little slippery though, I guess that’s to be expected with any mat really. The thickness, or depth, is what makes all the difference, absorbing any bumps beneath and providing sufficient gap between the ground to allow for a comfy level of inflation and at no point did it ‘bottom out’. Slept very well on it! Deflating and rolling up wasn’t really an issue, folded it into 3 lengthways and rolled it to squeeze the air out and it went into its bag easily. Can’t speak for longevity or durability yet but so far I’m really pleased with it. It takes a little more time to inflate and is a bit noisy at times when pumping, but it’s well worth it for the sleeping experience in my opinion.

Durable, easy to use and well worth the money.
A good quality, simple and durable product. I have needed to use it everyday for over 6 months now and it's still going strong with no issues. It is quite comfortable when fully inflated and yet, also feels tough and difficult to damage. It can make quite loud, funny fart noises when you're inflating it! So make sure you inflate it while everybody else is still awake if you're sleeping with a group. Inflating it only takes about 3-5 minutes if you're pumping at a steady pace. I am so happy with this product. I've probably used it more in 6 months than most keen campers would in a few years, so you're definitely going to get your money's worth from it.

Not used for camping but.........
Needed to find sleeping pad to provide long term overnight care for a poorly friend. Bought this item as it seemed thicker/wider than some. I would need some comfort while sleeping on concrete floor beside bed & at my age I needed sufficient padding. Wasn't expecting miracles as I bought this in a frantic hurry due to urgent circumstances. This was such a help. Felt quality when unrolled, good length ok for 6ft. Had pillow support for the head and using a rolled up fleece added warmth. I didn't roll off edge during the night and managed to get some good sleep. Quite firm first time but easy to adjust to suit and it stayed inflated (once I had worked out how to do it). Deducted one star as it is quite noisy when you move and price has increased quite a bit. However I appreciate it needs to be strong reinforced material to work well. So easy to pack:- Fold in 3 lengthways, roll to squeeze air out and it easily goes into the provided bag. I carry it in the boot of car as its compact and fairly light. Thank you this was a reliable comfortable product at a time of need which was highly appreciated. It did all I needed and did it well. Thanks!

Doesn't live up to promises.
This was bought as a present for my son. When it arrived we followed the instructions and the item seemed to be of good constuction and quality and well presented in it's bag. My son took it camping, firstly the foot pump stopped working so he had to blow it up manually, the first night it was fine and met expectations. Second night it had deflated slightly so needed topping up. During the night there where two loud thuds which woke my son up, it wasn't immediately obvious what had happened so on getting up in the morning he discovered that two "lumps" had appeared one where the built in pillow starts, and the other one approximately halfway down mat, this made the bed uncomfortable because of the position of the lump. On closer inspection it would appear the internal structure has failed causing the bed to go out of shape. See picture. One of the reasons of choosing this product was the so called customer service and 2 year guarantee, my son contacted them and as yet, has not received a reply. We have therefore returned the item for a refund. I would not recomend this inflatable camping mat, which is a pity as my son said it would have been ideal for what he wanted. To sum up it only managed one night before failing and that Trinordic's don't live up to their promises.

Good
Inflating was quick by foot, tested inflation by pushing down with hands as i won't be able to do with feet in the space I'll have, it took less than 3 minutes which is good i think. Deflated quickly with cap off and stores away well. I tested it overnight with load of heavy things on it, got up this morning still fully inflated. Size is good although i wish they did them less length as I'm short and will be in a tight space, but thats not an issue with it, more of a preference. Feels comfortable and strong. Lightweight enough to carry in backpack. Good price for quality.

VERY comfortable, worth a little extra weight
I was really pleased with this mat when we camped along the West Highland Way this summer. I have issues with my hips and back if I don't get enough support, so I went for the extra thick mat, and even though the weight and size difference to the less thick versions was semi-significant, it wasn't a deal-breaker. Pumping it up is a little awkward if the ground outside is wet or rocky and you have to do it in the tent but can't properly stand up to do it, but it still works, even if you need to use your hand instead of your foot. It deflates really quickly and you can pack it away within a minute or two. Add great customer service and support by Trinordic into it, and you've got a winning combo. Would definitely recommend.
