does it work on cell phones ?

I used the permatex 81730 flowable silicone on a cracked screen on an ipad. The corner of the ipad had hit a hard surface and fractured the corner without interfering much with the rest of the screen. I thought I would try the flowable silicone and see how well it worked. I was mainly hoping to keep small pieces from slowly falling out and destabilizing the rest of the glass in the corner. The flowable silicone works as promised. When applied it flows out over the affected area much better than regular silicone. However, it doesn't permeate the crack and basically sits on top of the glass itself. In my experience it did stabilize the corner but left a raised place above the glass that obviously felt like silicone and eventually began peeling off. I eventually had to peel it off the surface of the glass and I haven't as yet replaced it. That's all the info I can share about it... but that was my experience.

can this be used to adhere the black strip to the front windshield?

100%. It gets messy on your hands but it will do its job. I did on my windshield which had a gap and the air was coming in while driving... After sealing it.... It is perfect.

Would this work on a car headlight housing to keep away moisture?

Yes it would as the silicone in it would prevent any water from getting in , also depends how big your Crack is .

Will this work for a glass door that has a small crack (about 2 inches)?

YES---but it will run down if not masked off. Not perfectly clear. Any run down or thick area can be trimmed/shaved off with razor. The crack needs some open space for the fluid to penetrate.
