A primitive farm-grade implement. A heavy piece of rough sharpened metal with a crummy handle. Easy to use, just hack away.

This will work fine for my needs (separating plants), but it's definitely "primitive". It's not going to be usefull much beyond that without sharpening it. Which can be done.

This is a HEAVY hand forged machete. It is small enough to fit in a smaller bag, but it is heavy. It isn't a perfect machine-made blade. It was definitely put through the fire a few times. It arrives in a small box, in several layers of plastic. It is oiled. The only drawback is that it doesn't come with a sheath. I plan on taking it to a professional knife sharpener to make sure it has a perfect edge. As for smaller jobs, like plants, it is fine straight from the box. I highly recommend it for your next time in the Great Outdoors. 5 Stars.

One of my favourite hobby is gardening. Every year I do gardening and to keep my garden nice and clean I was looking for this knife. I need to trim the big tree. It’s working great and sharp.
