The only extras that the Chinese ones had that this one didn't was an LED display showing the voltage figure and a pair of USB sockets. This was very simple to install, and it definitely was charging the battery that we needed to keep topped up. Would buy again although I think one with a LED display instead of LED lights would be better.

Very happy with this purchase.

Totally reliable! I’ve tried other brands, but used Victron now and have done for years. Excellent products, leaders in the field in my opinion 10/10

Expensive bit of metal and plastic with no real benefit
So I've been using a cheaper solar controller for over 12 months. It was recommended to me that I buy a more expensive one as it is better for the batteries. I bought this thinking that it was the bluetooth version as it said blue solar. What a mistake I made not only is this more expensive than the newer bluetooth version but it has no indication of what it's doing other than two flashing lights. Do not waste your money on this version this should not be for sale as the newer bluetooth version is cheaper what a con.
