I was dubious, but it works great.
I have this installed on a Linux box on a USB 3.1 port and with kernel 6.8 and it works right out of the box. Using iperf I get the same I/O (about 2.35 Gbps) as I do with the built in ports on my other machines.Pleasantly surprised. Recommended.

Works Great
Does the job. Nice upload and download speeds. Now I do not have to rely on sharing the wireless signals with others. Nice stable operation.

It just didn't work
Huh...I'm kind of stumped on this one. I have a different uni ethernet adapter that I use (and that one does work). I needed one with a slightly longer cable however (and also preferably one with a USB-A port as I'm currently using an adapter for my usb-C one). This one fit the bill perfectly , so I figured it would work, but I plugged in my ethernet cable and...nothing. Two LEDs lit up on the adapter, but my smart TV didn't recognize that ethernet was connected.I tried resetting my network connections, turned wifi on/off, restarted the device, but still got the "ethernet not connected" message. As soon as I switched back to my old uni adapter, it immediately registered ethernet connected.I am sure I probably just got a defective product, but unfortunately I can only review the one I have. On the plus side, it (like my other uni adapter) looks very well made with a sharp space grey aluminum coating and sturdy braided cable.
