Have repaired 2 Kitchenaid tilt mixers with these parts. These gears fit fine, work fine, and do not break the first time you use them. There is no noticable gear noise either. You do have to clean all the old grease out before installing these, and cover them heavily in fresh, food grade grease before sealing the mixer up. But so far so good.

Wasn't sure how durable the nylon gear would be compared to the metal type. We use it a lot, seems to be quieter too!

I got this as a replacement for my broken worm gear. And the entire 4 gear piece came pre assembled with a metal replacement gear so the gear won't wear out again. It's nice and easy to install. Took 3 screws and my God. This works great. A bit of noise as it grinds up. But the grease helps with that

I just finished installing this replacement, it fits perfectly! Now I can make pizza dough without worrying about that sacrificial gear! I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to replace their gear, especially if you always make dough!

I have a KitchenAid mixer (model number KSM105GBCMC).One day while making bread, my 2 year old dropped the measuring cup in trying to help. I’m so glad he didn’t get hurt, but my KitchenAid ran slower and then 3 minutes later stopped spinning. When turned on, you could hear the engine, but the mixers wouldn’t spin. I found out it was the worm gear. I had stripped it.After tons of research online, I took apart the KitchenAid and saw that I did strip it. I just simply took out the old piece, put on the new, put it back together and now it works again!Don’t waste $300! Fix your KitchenAid this way! YouTube has videos on how to replace it! this thing has terrible clearance on the bushing and had a wobble. thankfully the gear had tight tolerances so i was able to use the original parts and just swapped out the metal worm gear. everything thing is working like it should. now to get my 60y k45 back up and running again

Although the gear was metal the bushings were a plastic material not bronze like the original. The drive post physically wobbled back and forth in the bushings. I had a spare body so I chose to move the gear and drive post to to this body. When I took the drive post out of the body it was shipped in, it looks like the lock pin hole had been mis-drilled. They filled that back in and then re-drilled the hole. Very poor manufacturing practices. I feel like the overall quality is poor. We will see how it works.

it is perfect for my kitchenaid artisan mixer. The gear metal is better than original plastic one.
