First day of 7 day trip these units were 5x quieter than the Frabills we used in the past. Awesome aeration and so quiet they didn't seem on. By end of trip (after running 24/7) they (both units) were noticeably noisier, yet still much quieter than the new Frabills. However still great aeration. Like the power on features of these units, had to replaced Frabill switches every 3 years. Will update this review after next year's trip.

This aerator has plenty of output for large or small tanks. My son uses it when he fishes to help keep his catches alive. Also like that it is portable and can replace the batteries when needed.

I use it for fishing on the beach keeping my bait alive. So far it has worked great with no issues.

Batteries last forever. Works great to transport fish to our pond!!

Pawfly Outdoor Live Bait Aerator 40 GPH Battery Air Pump for 5 to 30 Gallon Bait Bucket.We move fish around our ranch from time to time. Sometimes we have fingerlings to move from one pond to another. We also buy minnows and mosquito fish to stock in those ponds. When we do that we usually have a long drive home from the source. It can be 2 or 3 hours, so I ordered this air pump to go with a five gallon bucket for transport. This seems really well made, and everything you need is there. The hose and stone are in the battery compartment. I guess it would be nice if it was rechargeable with a USB cable so that I could charge it or run it in the truck or car. But the 2 D batteries should last a long time, and we won’t be using it very often. Overall this little pump puts out a nice supply of bubbles and should do the job. I put a metal washer on the hose above the stone to give it some extra weight because it was wanting to float up. Other than that it works great!

Unfortunately, had to return this item the same day. Put in fresh batteries and the aerator would not turn on. (Double-checked the batteries with a multimeter to ensure they were also fresh.) The box was previously opened upon receipt. Not sure if this was already returned at another time.
