We travel a lot so leave our home empty about 7 months of the year. These cameras work perfectly to be alerted for movement in the house and also just to look around. We place one in our front entry and it worked so well we ordered a second on for the rear area of the house. The installation and set up were very easy and the picture quality is excellent. 5 stars for this product!

Have had this running for 2 weeks now, along with a Switchbot Mini, while I am away from my home. 5 days in, this unit went offline but the mini has been working fine. The only good thing I can say about this is that the video quality if excellent when it is working. Had someone to check on the house and restarted this camera so it's back online. Will see how long it stays online this time. I have checked firmware of the camera and it is the latest. While someone was at the house, I got to watch video real time and got recorded video. I have to say I have very mixed feelings about motion tracking. When I am watching real time video, the view kept shifting because the camera detected movements. This became very annoying as it became very hard to see what I am actually trying to see. The the motion tracking video is disappointing as well. I included the one as example. When motion is detected, somehow camera first moves a bit in opposite direction, then a pause, then it moved the other way to catch up with the movement. As you can see in video, by the time it swings back, the person is already gone and camera wasn't able to reacquire. Basically I got a flash of a person passing by and that was it. It would have been better if motion tracking was disabled. Annoying part is that this doesn't happen all the time. 50% of the time it does catch the person again and was able to track the movement. It seems to me that these are all software issues that can be addressed easily. Perhaps motion tracking can be turned off when viewing real time and while it is being controlled by the app. The app is also disappointing in that I can only connect to one camera at a time. On the home screen, you get tiles of cameras available but you can not view the videos in the tiled format. So if you have multiple of these and watch to watch all corners of your house at the same time, this would not work for you. If these cameras work with another app that could allow you the tiled view, I don't know about those yet. Edit: Have not gone offline again so that could be a one time incident.

I kind of bought this on a lark as I love the SwitchBot button toggle. That one is actually my favorite smart device as it can start my record player remotely! So cool. The pan tilt camera is growing on me though. Originally bought it to establish proof of life for the cats when we are traveling. I wasn’t expecting much, given the price, but despite being cheap, it works pretty well. Good v1 design. It is super quiet and I love that I can save the video to a micro SD card. The remote access is pretty good, if a little slow to connect at times. Best of all, the tracking works! Easily follows me and my wife around when we leave it on and usually catches the cats too. I think it is a little spotty at night with the cats but we still get hits. I do wish you had more control over the sensitivity. All in, it is prob the best bang for your buck in the space. I mean it is a v1 design, so don’t expect perfection. It is an affordable and easy to use device that does everything I was looking for. Also the SwitchBot customer service is super cute. Nice job guys!

The quality of the camera was great! The picture that came through was wonderful, exactly as described, lived it! But the UI (app you get off Google Play store) for the camera was one of the worst I ever saw. You can not access any of the recordings. Even when using a 1TB Micro SD card. The UI is hard to navigate to find where the recordings are to start with. Then once you do locate them, it's empty. I accidentally left the UI open on there and after 5+ minutes, it started to load "something". It had one recording from the previous day that it would loop. If I let it sit there at that screen for another few minutes, it showed on the time line wheel that there were more recordings I could scroll to now. But if you try, it won't let you. It just repeats that single recording from midnight over and over and over, regardless how long you let it sit. The info for the SD card says there's things being saved but I only get that one recording from midnight of the previous day and I have no control of it. I can't find it elsewhere and I can't even delete it. And then the next day when I try to find it, it's gone. Only to be replaced with a new looping, hiding, undeletable midnight clip. Please make things simple. Don't hide the recordings away. Speed the UI up. Let us be able to see and control the recording time lines with EASE. And if we're using a SD card, let us be able to easily access the recordings on it and delete what we want from it without having to format the entire card each time

I use the SwitchBot Baby Monitor Indoor Camera to keep an eye on my two cockatiels, and it works perfectly! The 360-degree view lets me see everything, and I can even talk to them from anywhere. The privacy mode is another great feature, the lens hides itself, and I have it set to automatically turn off when we’re home. Great image quality and super easy to use.

Ich habe diese Kamera vor etwa einem Jahr gekauft – es ist bereits meine zweite SwitchBot-Kamera. Die Videoqualität ist scharf und die App ist wirklich super, sehr benutzerfreundlich und voller Funktionen. Ich habe Wifi 7 zuhause und ab und zu trennt sich die Kamera einfach vom WLAN. Auch sehr schade: Die Kamera unterstützt keine 5GHz-Netzwerke und funktioniert nur mit dem langsameren WLAN-Standard 802.11n. Außerdem ist die Audioqualität vom Mikrofon verbesserungsbedürftig. Tolle Bildqualität, tolle App, aber beim Ton und der WLAN-Stabilität gibt es definitiv Verbesserungsbedarf.

I have been using switchbot Pan Tilt cam as a baby monitor for a while now. I recommend it for its excellent night vision. It is also easy to setup and the app is easy to use. Options to record video via the app is also a plus. You can record the cute moments.

Je l'ai mis dans ma maison entre deux chambres et c'est très cool parce qu'il a la vision large et peut prendre en vision beaucoup de choses. Les fonctionnalités sont très bonnes, il se mets en privacy quand j'arrive à la maison et s'active quand je sors. Il a le détecteur des mouvements et des personnes et même l'alarme. La seule chose est que ça ne fonctionne pas pour moi pour voir l'image quand je suis sur ma ligne téléphonique, ça marche seulement sur le WiFi, mais apparemment c'est un problème seulement lié à mon opérateur téléphonique et l'équipe du Switchbot est en train de résoudre le problème. Pour info je suis sur Bouygues.
