Excellent all around day pack.
This is my favorite size for a versatile day pack. It can hold books, computers, and supplies for students and office folk. It can hold warm clothes, rain gear, food, and supplies for hikers and travelers. It is substantial enough for discrete tactical or self defense carry. Even so, it is not cumbersome or obviously large. It does not scream "tactical". I trust that the size is as described. It seems a little smaller than 40L to me. I am a real fan of Cordura. It is a registered brand of nylon (not polyester as the website says) that is very strong and abrasion resistant. It is the best material for gear like this. This is a well designed pack with enough pockets for good organization. This is a soft tactical style pack, without an internal frame. The foam pad at the back provides some structural strength. Zippers are strong and smooth. The pack's only limitation is it does not have adjustments for torso length. It does, however, have "load lifter" adjustments at the top of the shoulder straps, so one can adjust how closely the pack snugs up to the back. This is great for cyclists who do not want a high-riding pack hitting them in the back of the head. You can get some length adjustment there as well. I am 5 feet 8 inches tall, 160 pounds, and the pack fits me well. I can see how people who are taller might find it small, with the waist belt wrapping around their belly. Larger Mardingtop packs do have torso adjustments. So, no complaints or criticisms from me. Great pack.

Comfortable & Durable
Seems well made. The pockets are big and even the smallest pocket is useful. It's pretty comfortable even up to ~40lbs. It has a slot that a charger or water bladder could use coming from the main compartment. I spilled some water on it today and it didn't absorb into the fabric so it's relatively water resistant. I'd say the cost is worth it.

Waste belt position to high
It’s smaller than it looks. Im only 5’9” a the waste belt hits to high making it very uncomfortable. I returned it.

This is an unbelievable bag. Plenty of room. Front and side pockets. Sturdy molle. Interior pockets to compartmentalize gear. Definitely a bargain!

Nice
I absolutely love this backpack so far and the fact that I can add a water bladder to it makes it even better. Ok back from my trip to Bangkok Thailand 30 day's backpack did an amazing job it needs to have a strap on the back to hold it on your luggage would be a big help on them long flight layovers and bigger holes in the zipper so you can add travel locks incase it has to be put as check luggage. And the velcro strap inside the bag needs to be above the water bladder hanger so you can use it when you have a bladder in it. Other then that great backpack.

Great bag
The backpack was great. I own a 35l for daily use amd its amazing. I returned the 40l only because it wasn't big enough for the specific use I need.
