I purchased this caftan / cover up for a "moo moos and margaritas" party, and I was looking for something that reminded me of Mrs. Roper. If you're an older individual, you will know who that is. This caftan was perfect for that. The colors and pattern are very pretty and its super flowy. So much fun. The fabric is light weight and could be used for a pool or beach cover-up as well. The size was just right, although us shorter ladies may need to pick up the caftan as you go up any stairs as it is on the longer side. The price was great, and worth the money. It washed well holding its shape and the colors remained just as vibrant as when first purchased. Initially I only purchased this for the party, but its so pretty and comfortable that I will probably continue to wear this around the house.

I bought two of these caftans in different patterns to take to a desert resort with a spectacular outdoor pool. I was on the fence about ordering this bold print with its multiple colors, but the flowing pattern was so pretty I thought it was worth a try. When it arrived, I was only marginally impressed until I pulled it out of the package and put it on - - wow! Absolutely stunning! The garment is a simple rectangular shape that’s seamed down the middle of each side. But the impact of the draping is marvelous. It is not see-through but it’s weightless enough to just flow easy over all of your imperfections without making you look like you’re wearing a huge bag. It’s soft and comfy next to your skin, and well-constructed; the seams did not fray when I machine-washed it on the delicates cycle. I hung it on a hanger to dry, flattening out the corners of the hem and shoulders. and it surprisingly did not need ironing after it dried. I folded it in thirds, and then in half the other way, and packed it on top of everything else in my suitcase, and it didn’t wrinkle. I really felt like a movie star in this one, and I not only wore it multiple days over my swimsuit but also popped it on after my shower. Every day I had it on, I was stopped and complimented, several ladies asked me where I’d bought it. Some days I had a floppy hat & flip flops on, and other days I styled it with jeweled sandals and big hoop earrings. One side has a curved V neckline, and I wore that in both the front and the back to give it different looks. It was perfect to leave on in the evening sitting by the outdoor fireplace, as it dried quickly even over my damp swimsuit. I’d packed two pairs of shorts for this weeklong trip but I ended up wearing neither because I had two of these caftans for over my swimsuits. When I arrived home, I took it to the drugstore so I could pick out 3 new nail polish colors to go with for the summer. I am only 5’4” tall and this wasn’t so long that it interfered with walking, but it’s plenty long enough for bigger/taller ladies, too. What a find! I never expected to be so happy with this well-priced simple garment. The only improvement to be made would be to add pockets on the side seams. Which would be simple to do if you sew. But I’m afraid if it had them, I might never take it off.

This kaftan maxi dress has quickly become my favorite beach and poolside cover-up. The fit is perfect—loose, flowy, and comfortable—while still being flattering. Absolutely love it ! The colors are amazing the ease of wash and wear can’t be beat. So comfortable to wear around the house . I had bought 3 during Amazon Deal Days 2 weeks later I bought 4 more. Wanted them to throw on at the end of the day during our vacation trip. I tried on before leaving and ended up wearing them all before we left. They were beyond amazing on vaca, threw on over my swimsuit, after a day hiking , rafting or the Waterpark they were perfect . Best use was after a 8 hour whitewater rafting trip, I snuck off the transport bus threw one over me undressed from the cold and wet water gear and had a very comfortable ride back to the drop off area every female in our group said they were getting one when they returned home! I would give more stars if I could I even wore one out for brunch during our trip and received many compliments too, win win! I’m 220 and 5’8” btw and 46 37 47 and had a good 4-5 inch’s on each side , so more room for additional inches. The material is not stretchy if any one is wondering but cut to be roomy without the needed stretch. If you are bigger than 55”these may not be for you. I did see some by a different company that was cut larger and a few with a 1-2% elastane/sp.

It’s soft and fits well, but the color is completely incorrect. I ordered the teal & white pattern. I washed it in cold water on a gentle cycle in a laundry bag by itself and some of the blue bled onto the bag.

OK...I can not say enough good things about this stylish cover up. The material/fabric is of GREAT quality AND breathable. The thickness of the material makes it flow nicely adding to its style. I have had many compliments when I've worn it. I like the length of the sleeves but it doesn't make it too warm even though they cover a good amount of your arm. I just love this cover up. AND THE PRICE!!!!! I promise you, you won't regret this purchase!!!!

Fabric was comfortable, washed well. I put it in a larger sized laundry bag to avoid tangling and wrinkles. Used OTraki Mesh Laundry Bag for Delicates.Runs small for plus sizes, especially in the hips. But, I enjoyed wearing it to the event for which it was purchased.Also, pockets could be added.
