Top tier device with customer service to match
Very robust, extremely bright, pocketable and the battery lasts pretty long too. I use it when I’m going home from uni and I can clip it on my bag strap without worrying about it getting messed up from the rain. However I used my power bank which outputs 30 watts and it messed up my e7. I contacted the customer support and they were very patient and understanding. They sent me a new one free of charge!!!

Versatile and robust light.
Fantastic little light, very solid construction and it's taken several drops onto pavement no problem, just with some paintwork chipping away. 3 light modes, 1st good for pitch black and just trying to look for the dog poo - other two much brighter, the highest setting offering super lumination - lights up whole path and way ahead when I'm on my runs. As for usability - great to pop in a pocket for the dog walk, but I also use it clipped on to the waist of my shorts when running to light up the path - much prefer this to a head torch. Really pleased with the light. Can't fault it really.

Punches above it's size.
For anyone new to these kinds of high performance torches/flashlights. Just be aware of what the specs actually mean. The 1800 lumen rating of the WUBEN E7, is it's 'turbo' mode. That mode puts almost a dead short across the battery, and the E7 becomes a light canon for about 60 seconds. After that, the LEDs will heat up, and the E7 begins to throttle the output down to 800 lumens for about another minute, then switches to the 'high' setting of 400 lumens, and can remain at that output for an hour and a half. But 400 lumens is still an impressive output for such a small torch. If you are crossing a pitch-dark carpark, or reach an area of pavement not illuminated by any streetlight, you can double-click the E7, and turn night into day. Or you can take the dog for a walk using the constant 400 lumen setting, and switch up to the super-bright, short-duration setting if you lose the dogs ball. The E7 is a really versatile device. It has (extra cost) accessories, to convert it to a head torch, or extend the battery compartment, to allow it to use 18650 batteries, for the same outputs but longer runtimes. It's built like a tank, and gives a nice wide flood beam, with a wide hotspot. The LED emitters are not some flaky Chinese knock-off, they are proper Osram P9s. In fact the only thing you really need to decide, is what colour temperature to buy. Again, for the newbies, the 6500Kelvin version gives off a bright white light with a blueish tint. The 5000Kelvin version gives off a light with an amber tint, which is much better at showing colours as they actually are. It is also nice to have the strobe and SOS features. Especially as Wuben have placed them in a side menu, so you do not have the frustration of having to cycle through them in normal day-to-day use. Recommended, especially during the UK Winter, when it is dark by 4:30PM.

Well designed with miner niggles
The little mini flashlight is great in many ways. It has 3 levels of brightness and a fourth super bright mode which can be activated by a quick double tap in short bursts to avoid overheating. I bought the green one and it looks really cool, a lanyard can be fitted if required. Its charges quickly and battery life is reasonable for a small torch, don’t expect it to last ages especially when used on the brighter settings. My main grip is the rubber flap that pushes into the USB C charging port. It has a tendency to come out which is annoying. I have several other torches where the charging port is protected by either the body itself or a sliding switch (check the Wuben G5) which is much better. There’s a magnetic base and a clip. Overall it is a great little torch, very compact, bright, sturdy and well made. If the charging port cover was better I’d have given 5 stars. Still worth buying though. I hope this helps you.

A Great Small Rechargeable Torch, Strong And Bright
I'd been needing a small torch for pocket carry for a while, and when my wife washed, spun and tumble-dried one of my Wuben C3s leading to its demise it was a perfect time to try something new. The E7 is small, very well built, easily charged using a USB-C charger, has a wide number of modes, and is overall good value - especially when it's on offer. Like the C3s the E7 is quite water resistant - but there are obvious limits! :)

Poor quality
Bought three of these for my family last Christmas. One got very hot and melted the contacts during charging after 2 months use. I disconnected it just before it caught alight. Had been out in a rainstorm so thought moisture may have got past the flimsy plastic/rubber USB cover. We carried on using the other two. Great useful little torch. Unfortunately a problem which was just a niggle at first has become a terminal problem for another of them. It was always difficult to get one of them to charge. Wiggling the USB cable would allow it to charge. Now less than a year later it refuses to accept a charge at all, so has been junked.. The third has hardly been used by my son but has had no problem so far. Overall it was highly valued as a torch for walking my dog. Great light output with a good beam and nice spread of light. Given the above however i think the build quality, despite appearances is poor. Two have lasted less than a year. I would never leave an item like this charging unsupervised, which given the first one got very hot and gave off a burning smell is just as well. Sadly given the above can only give the Wuben one star.

Perfect for my evening winter dog walks
This is perfectly pocketable and more than powerful enough, light weight and easy to use. I like that you can change the battery for a bigger 18650 with the adapter for longer use. It’s great value for money considering its build quality. What’s more I also bought the head torch adapter and now it’s the perfect all rounder.

This torch is fantastic. I clip it onto my belt as I do work a lot in the dark. On medium output it last for ages and is the perfect shape, size and brightness.
