Fun, exciting conclusion... but wish it weren't over!
Like the grandson in one of the other reviews, I could go for a third! (And I'm an adult.) Love these characters and these books. The artwork is beautiful as well. A fun adventure story!

Grandson loves these books
My 12 year old grandson loved this series and wants to read the next one - I told him there are only two. He said, "Well, they COULD write another one!" He read this one in one day. I love to see him read and enjoy it - I'm his grandmother, I want him to have fun when he's with me, but computers and cell phones need to be put away!

Fast paced adventure
Engaging graphic novel centered around red headed twins, a boy and a girl, Alex and Cleo, who are living a dangerous adventure. Secrets about the twins' past are revealed leaving them confused but determined to find the treasure their mother left them before the pirate Worley finds them. The characters are well developed, and the plot gives enough clues for readers to not feel lost if they begin reading Knife's Edge without reading Book 1 in the series. The adventure is fast paced and Alex and Cleo's solutions to many of the difficulties they find themselves are believable. Their is a bit of discussion about kissing, and a kiss between Cleo and one of the characters, which might draw some "Ewwws" from readers in grades 4th and 5th.

Students love it
I ordered this book for my elementary school library after giving Compass South to a reluctant reader who LOVED it. Perfect for 4-6 grades but still appealing to older readers as well -- I bought the books because I loved them myself.

SCHOOL PURCHASE
I order Amazon for a public school district. This must be okay to recommend b/c I didn't hear any complaints (and believe me I would have.)
