I also like the Adaptive Sound feature since it adjusts automatically whether I’m watching a movie, sports, or just regular TV.For gaming, Game Mode Pro adds depth and immersion, and the Q-Symphony feature synced perfectly with my Samsung TV speakers for a fuller effect. Purchased this for my living room, mind you I’m in a 1,000sqft apartment. I have a 5 year old Samsung smart tv 55in, so naturally bought this Samsung sound bar. Below are pros and consPros:If it is on voice boost function I can tell the difference and hear more clearly than my regular tv.For those that said the bass isn’t there, there definitely is bass to it.Currently watching disciple me two with my son to where I can clearly hear them nawing at the trees, pressing button and the sound effects, and even foot steps more clearly than just my tv speakers.I also have ac window units and can hear this so much better than my tv speakersCons:It took me 20 minutes in between cooking dinner to figure out how to get sound to it from the tv. I’m not entirely sure why an hdmi cable is included, maybe it’s because my TVs 5+ years old but Samsung wouldn’t give me the option through my tv to have it setup that way (yes tried the hdmi port for arc and the hdmi slot in the back where the old school audio ports are -yellow white aux)After 20min of struggling somehow have it added through sound output via Bluetooth. Now if you asked me how I got it there honestly I don’t remember 🤦‍♀️ I have only tried it so far with tv shows or movies haven’t connected my phone to either my tv or the speaker it’s self to see how it does with music.Over all I stand by the 4 star rating as I haven’t heard any issues with it, and have noticed a difference from my stand alone tv speakers to this

For a small to medium room great. I've tested many sound bars in my search for that magic. To my ears the Samsung s50b sounds the most like a Bose at a fraction of the price. I have tried JBL Sonos Sony bose. The Samsung good for gaming movies and tv great value. I paid about $150. The only thing is it does not use an app it's has night mode for when you're ready to sleep. Perfect nice sound effects .Con I don't have a lot of electrical outlets in my room so I use a surge protector. The tv randomly shuts off from time to time and I would if it's the Samsung soundbar power brick. I hope not bc it really is a nice sound bar. And I'm using optical I bet it sounds even better with hdmi
