COULD NOT BE HAPPIER!!!!
This thing is a beast! I have owned an LG Optimus Q (StraightTalk my first smartphone), Nexus 4, Nexus 5, and now a LG G3. I am not a LG fanboy it just worked out this way. After using the Optimus for a year and getting to know Android and Google I learned about the Nexus line. Needless to say it's the way to go, especially with the price of the N4. The N5 held the same pricing as the N4 so I updated. I wanted to update again this year to the Nexus 6 but Google changed the price. I wasn't going to pay $750 for a phone especially when it didn't include things the previous phone did (Slimport). Also I broke my screen about 2 months ago for the second time. So it was time to start looking for a new phone. This phone at this price is a steal. Then you include all the add-ons and its a no brainer. These are my reasons for the purchase: 1. Price. $417. For the phone to be reduced $250 in 5 months is a good deal. 2. Slimport. I like watching movies on my big screen or at a friends house. Chromecast is still a bit off with audio to picture sync. 3. Battery. The battery life is impressing me. Blows away my N5 in this department. I listened to 5 hours of Sirius satellite radio with bluetooth going over wifi and I still had 72%. My N5 would have been down to the 20's%. 4. Wireless "Qi" charging. Once you have it you won't go back to plugs and cords. 5. Speaker. I wasn't looking at speakers since it didn't have front facing but I was extremely surprised. It's LOUD for a phone speaker. I compared to the N5 and its about 2X as loud. Sounds good too. 6. Screen. The phone is only 1.5 centimeters taller than the N5 but has a screen a 1/2 inch bigger. Plus quadHD to boot. It is a stunning screen to look at. Very happy. 7. FM radio. I haven't had this since the flip phone days, this is a nice perk. 8. IR Blaster. How sweet is that. Being able to control TV's with my phone is sweet. I probably could make this a top ten list but when I was phone shopping I wanted what my Nexus 5 had and around the same price as I paid for that. This phone exceeds this requirement. I am so happy I got this phone. The UI is different than "pure" Android but I like it. Plus I can always add Nova launcher and just switch to that in Home. I hope this helps anyone weighing their options.

Great phone for a great price
I'm migrating from an iPhone to an Android device, and the difference is night and day. This phone runs circles around my old iPhone, and easily rivals the latest iPhone in terms of power and features. I compared this one, the HTC One M8, the Galaxy S5, and a handful of other flagship devices, and I settled on this one for the combination of horsepower and prices. Additionally, I wanted the larger internal storage and RAM along with the screen size. It does run a little warm, but I've yet to have it overheat as I've read from other users. I've used several third-party apps to replace some of the stock LG stuff and removed a bit of the bloatware, but all things considered, for a phone that's a generation old now, it's a solid device that I anticipate having for several years.

Good phone
After having spent a considerable amount of time researching a replacement for my Samsung Galaxy S3 mini, I came across this LG phone. I wanted a phone with a removable battery, quad band capabilities, and the ability to add a micro SD card for additional storage space. This phone fit the bill. Pros: Set up is really easy if you're familiar with Android software. It took me about an hour from the time I opened the box to adjust everything the way I wanted it. The front facing camera works really well. My S3 mini had a decent front facing camera, but it often made my pictures come out grainy and it didn't perform very well in low light. The LG's front facing camera works well in low light, and I like the fact that you can adjust the focus for a softer effect. The display, as I mentioned earlier, is really great. The thing that made me realise how much better the display is on this phone is when I was looking at a picture I took on my S3 mini on my LG, and it looked really grainy and out of focus. Cons: I don't really like having the power button on the back. I find myself accidentally hitting it when I'm in the middle of something else. Perhaps I just hold my phone at a weird angle. This may be wishful thinking, but it would be nice if there were a way to un-install some of the default applications without having to root the phone. The other weird thing I've noticed is that occasionally when I open up a picture in my gallery, the display turns grey and the picture becomes this weird grey square. It may just be a question of a software update or needing to clear the gallery cache, but I thought I would mention it anyway in case someone else has had a similar issue. I don't like the screen shot command (hit the power button and the volume down key at the same time). I often use screen shots as a lazy way of taking notes on my phone, and hitting the power button and volume down key is a really awkward gesture. There is another way of taking a screen shot using the touch screen, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. It may just be a question of practice.

Excellent phone, unlocked
Excellent phone, unlocked, and delivered very fast. First i was worried if they would ship to india, but they did and the phone itself is super awesome, better than any iphone or samsung phones u can get your hands on. This has 4k resolution, 4k video recording, 13 megapixel camera, awesome night cam, ire blaster universal remote, and everything you could possibly want. This is a DSLR, Movie camera, universal remote, 4k tv, phone, all rolled into one. The only downside if any, is that the sound while playing movies is a little low, and will be hard to hear without headphones in crowded places. For this price, i would say buy this phone as fast as u can. Thinking about buying another one for my friend.
