Great entry level laptop
This was bought after quite some time researching my options. I was looking for an adequate beginners laptop, with moderate performance, decent screen quality on a 15.6" screen, good wifi connections, and overall ease of use for basic purposes. The processor seems to be more than adequate for basic computing, and light office work. With only 8GB of RAM my concern would be the overall lifespan as to the possibility of needing more in the future, and this being unupgradable due to it being soldered onto the main board.Storage is plenty, and with a USB-C port there is always the ability to backup to a portable SSD to free up space when needed. Overall I would recommend this laptop for anybody needing something to complete basic tasks like web browsing, email, and light office work with documents. In fact, this review was written on it, and I am pleasantly surprised at how my ability to type on a chicklet style keyboard has improved over the couple of months I've had it.

High-Performance, Versatile Laptop for Work and Daily Tasks
I needed a laptop that could handle a little bit of everything—work, casual streaming, and light gaming—and the ASUS Vivobook Go turned out to be the perfect choice. It’s fast, versatile, and strikes the perfect balance between something like a Chromebook and a high-end gaming laptop. I picked it up during a Cyber Monday deal, and I couldn’t be happier with the value it delivers for the price.Performance has been excellent so far. The AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor and 8GB of RAM make this laptop responsive and reliable for everyday use. I’ve run multiple tabs, streamed videos, and even played some lighter games like Rocksmith 2014, and it’s handled everything without lagging or slowing down. It’s not a gaming powerhouse, but for what I need, it’s solid—responsive, consistent, and dependable. One thing I really appreciate is the privacy webcam cover. It’s practical and gives me peace of mind during video calls or meetings. The 15.6” screen is crisp and clear, making it a pleasure to use for both work and entertainment. Videos and documents look sharp, and the size is perfect for multitasking or just enjoying a good session. The integrated AMD Radeon Graphics also do a great job of keeping visuals smooth and consistent.Storage is another standout. The 512GB SSD gives me plenty of space for files, programs, and even a few games, and boot-up times are quick. Windows 11 Home feels intuitive and runs smoothly right out of the box, so setup was fast and hassle-free.The audio quality is pretty solid too. The ASUS SonicMaster speakers deliver clear, balanced sound, making it great for everyday tasks, music, and videos. As someone who’s spent a lot of time with tech, I can say this laptop is a winner. It’s well-built, reliable, and versatile enough to handle a bit of everything. If you’re looking for something that can balance business tasks, light gaming, and casual media consumption without breaking the bank, the Vivobook Go delivers exactly that.Overall, I’m really happy with this purchase. It does what I need it to do, looks great, and performs smoothly. ASUS nailed it here—this is a solid all-around laptop, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for value, performance, and practical features in one package!

great laptop
Super fast for word processing and works as intended. I got this to replace an HP for home office use and often have several tabs and applications open at once. The only knock is there is only one display port, as I prefer using 2 external monitors. I was able to get a USB-C to displayport connector to remedy this issue. The product states it supports multiple displays but it was a bit of a challenge finding a product that would support this but it is possible. I'd definitely recommend this laptop for the price, it definitely packs a punch for the price range.

My friend specified a thin notebood. This one arrived promptly and in new condition. It runs very well with windows 11 even though it had 8GB RAM. I am pleased with the purchase.

Locked Out twice in 3 months since buying
Bought on Oct 8. 6 - 8 weeks later it would not let me log in. Called Asus support and after a laborious discussion with a rep who was obviously not in this country and spoke broken English we tried to fix the problem, unsuccessfully. She said only solution to wipe everything clean and I would have to reload everything. I am not technically savvy so this took a long time but I got it working. 3 days ago it locked me out again. Called Asus support again. This rep was even harder to understand than the other one. She wanted to take me thru the same laborious process. I said absolutely not. PC is in warranty and it obviously has a problem. They should send me a new PC. She said Asus would have to first diagnose at their repair facility and I would need to pack it and send it there via Fed Ex at my expense. Not cheap, so am debating what to do. When I read reviews before buying this PC I noticed some others had this same issue. Should have taken their warnings and if you are thinking of buying one, please take my warning. Maybe this issue is just with a random PC here and there but you may get a lemon just like me and others. Don't risk it.
