Excellent, compact, great looking holder, easy access, functionality is a ten, great price.

I purchased this small manicure set because I'm starting to grow my nails. I often need a file or the little scissors when I accidentally break a nail or get one of those annoying little tags of skin or nail at the side of my fingernail, and sometimes feel hard and I would often bite them. Now I can simply cut or file them down. It's very handy to have in my handbag. So helping me to stop my bad habit.

A good compact set for travel or daily use.

The case is nice, it has a soft spongy feel and the release button works well. But it's a bit cramped. You can tell because the larger nail clipper is resting on top of the scissors. This causes it to slide about in the case and hit into the edge. You can see in my photo that the red paint was chipped off the corner of the clipper on arrival. The clippers themselves work quite well, as does the file. I prefer a metal file like this to those sand paper ones. The clippers themselves don't have a built in file.The smaller clipper with the curved edge is good for getting under the nail from harder to reach angles. But it is a bit too strong, or the lever applies too much pressure or something. I'm not sure what causes it, but it's really good at chipping nails off in pieces and flinging them across the room. The larger one doesn't do this.The ear wax scraper is really good. Much, much more effective and easier to use than cotton buds, and infinitely reusable. It's also the only tool you need. When you get a set of ear wax removal tools, the one shaped like the one in this set is the only one you end up using. The tweezers and scissors work well. I have no idea what a dead skin fork is.It feels a bit harsh giving 3 stars because the set includes 5 good tools, and maybe 6 depending on what a dead skin fork is. But the small clipper is disappointing and I fully expect all the red paint to be chipped off in a few months, and the colour is part of the appeal. The bands that hold the tools in place are also too central, so you have to pivot the tool and scrape the case's inner lining to get them out. The file in particular feels like it will damage the case pretty quickly.
