I ordered this KOMI Crucifix Wall Cross, Catholic Crosses with Black Enamel for my teenage son, who is in the midst of redoing his room.My son is having a lot of fun reorganizing and redecorating his bedroom, and recently I asked if there was anything else he needed to finish up. So we looked at rugs and curtains, and then he said he’d like a more grown-up looking crucifix. He has one from his First Communion.He chose this one with its black and silver color scheme. He’s picked black bedding, so this looks nice on the wall with what’s in his room.One thing I thought was unique about this cross was that it can be hung up two different ways. The front image is, of course, Jesus at the Crucifixion. But the reverse side is a cross featuring St. Benedict. The large center circle of the cross (where the bars connect) has a three-dimensional image of St. Benedict.I’ve never seen a cross or crucifix like this before. Usually, they only have one side.The cross is heavy and has a lot of detail. It is made of metal—I’m not sure what kind, but it has a nice weight to it. The front has a small statue of Jesus and a lot of raised, dimensional images and words. The back is a bit more simple, but also has raised, dimensional images and words.The cross is about 7 1/2” tall x 3.7” wide. It comes in a blue presentation box, nestled into a custom-made slot. The cross has a loop at the top so you can hang it from a wall.The cross looks more detailed in person than it did in the sales photos.My son likes the aesthetic appearance of this crucifix. It looks very nice in his room.

I am always skeptical in ordering Catholic objects from Amazon, but this time it paid off. This crucifix is large and heavy, and feels and looks like it’s made from quality materials. The Corpus’s face looks a little off – probably due to the mold that was used, but it’s better in person than the images on the listing. We have small Benedictine crosses in almost every room in our home, so I’m excited to have another one that’s larger and more visible. The Benedictine medal on the back is clear and well-made, as are the details on the front of the medal behind Jesus. I’m very impressed with the quality of this cross, and can’t wait to have it blessed so we can hang it up.
