Dual Piston Brake Caliper Compressor
The media could not be loaded. Because the compression plates are of a suitable size and can be inserted into the caliper without any difficulty, the procedure of replacing the brake pads had a far more seamless flow. I believe that this brake caliper compressor was designed with a lot of consideration, which makes it a dependable choice for anybody who is concerned about maintaining their own car. It is also compatible with the majority of automobiles and light trucks, which means that I will be able to use it on a variety of vehicles in the future. This was another feature that I enjoyed. As someone who has worked on automobiles in the past but would not consider themselves to be a professional mechanic, I found the ease with which this instrument could be used to be quite impressive. I was able to accomplish the task of appropriately compressing the brake caliper pistons without having to spend a significant amount of time since the directions were easy to understand. Positioning the tool so that it is in between the pistons and then carefully moving the handle to push the pistons back into the caliper is all that is required to accomplish this task.

Didn’t work at all.
Went to use the tool and found that it wouldn’t work, when you squeeze the handle it just slides on the shaft without actually gripping it and advancing it. Checked the instructions, double checked the placement even tried putting in an additional pad as a shim but nothing worked. Completely let me down had to break out the trusty c-clamp.

One third the cost of the tool truck
We compared this low cost compressor against a name brand unit off the tool truck that comes through our shop. I'll leave the name brand out of it as this can be found through most if not all of the tool truck vendors...The tool arrived and to my shock it was identical in design, build quality, and performance. Yet it cost three times less than the bame brand version.Easily pushings in standard brake pistons without much of an issue. Only hang up is quite literally where the compressor will hang up and is difficult to release. You never worry about breaking it as is it built pretty well. I Probably would not recommend dropping it though.

Efficient Brake Caliper Tool for DIY Mechanics
The media could not be loaded. This brake caliper tool has been a valuable addition to my home garage toolkit. The dual piston compression feature significantly speeds up brake pad replacements. Constructed from durable metal, it feels sturdy and well-made in hand. The squeeze handle design is comfortable to use, reducing hand strain during longer jobs. I've used it on several vehicles with good results, though I did encounter some difficulty with an older model car that had particularly tight calipers. It's worth noting that this tool is specifically for disc brakes, not drum brakes. One minor inconvenience is the bulkiness of the tool, which can make it challenging to maneuver in tight spaces around the wheel well. The rotating gray spreader pad initially confused me, but I learned it's a normal feature for fitting various caliper sizes. While using the tool, I accidentally pinched my finger once, so caution is advised during operation. Overall, this caliper tool has cut my brake job time roughly in half, from about an hour down to 30 minutes. It's not a magic solution and does require some learning, especially for those new to brake work. However, for DIY enthusiasts looking to streamline their brake maintenance, this tool offers good value and performance. It may not transform you into a professional mechanic overnight, but it certainly makes brake jobs more manageable and efficient for the average car owner.

It’s ok
It’s cheap and effective. Only complaint I have is that it often gets stuck after the first squeeze and you have to spend a few extra seconds playing around with it after each squeeze to keep it going smoothly. Will probably look for another one, but it does the job in the meantime. Great for home jobs where time isn’t of the essence.
