These ratching tiedowns came from Xpose Safety and were priced at $75 when we ordered. The price is really my only concern, as the quality seems to be on par with your no frills basic heavy duty tie down straps. The hooks felt solid, the straps are woven nylon and look like they should support the claimed 1,000lb work load. The ratchets are all metal and function as expected. The ratchet motions could be smoother and the release could be less knotchy, but they work just fine. Not premium quality, but good quality. The problem is they are priced above premium quality. I like these tie downs just fine, they are just too expensive.

Comes in a nice bag to keep it all together. This is really nice to have just incase. We are moving soon and these are gong to come in handy. I let my cousin borrow them because he was moving a bunch of stuff in his truck and they worked perfect.

These straps are of a great quality. They're made of a thick nylon and the metal parts, like the ratcheting system looks solid. They hold heavy weighted cargo with no problems. The ratcheting release system is a bit hard to release the first few uses, so adding a lubricant might be a good idea. I think they're a bit pricey for a 1 inch wide strap. Maybe if they were wider, the price will be less questioned. They're great straps, it's just that they being narrower than most straps around, holding capacity seems questionable. Overall, they're nice straps, with great holding capacity at an above average price.

These ratchet straps are very high quality. No cheap plastic or thin metal pieces in the ratchets like some you get at the local hardware store. The tie downs in my SUV actually started to flex from the ratcheting pressure these exert, so watch out! I use these to transport lumber from the local lumberyard to my home shop, and they have yet to let me down. I actually have little experience with ratchet straps, as I used bungie cords and twine most of the time. Having an old bungie cord snap into my thigh was enough for me to look into using something a little more durable. I also watched a few YouTube videos on the proper use of ratchet straps to tie things down safely and securely. Not sure why I felt so intimidated as these are very easy to use, especially the thumb release.The bright yellow straps are also very visible.A side note - I accidentally left the pack on top of the SUV one day and my wife took it for a ride. I found the case with the straps, fully intact, halfway down my street. No damage, so a shout-out to the quality of the case! I will say, just like folding a map ("what's a map?" my kid asks), it is a bit challenging getting these back in the case as originally packaged. It is possible, but I think they will eventually end up in the space inside my spare tire hub, probably tied down with my old bungie cords. :)

Strong and sturdy! Nothing to really complain about with these. The straps are well made with strong and durable materials. We use a kayak for spearfishing so we use these a lot. The cranks are easy and quick made of strong metal. These even came with some "S" hooks, so these were ready to use right from case. As someone who uses these often to lug around a heavy kayak, these give me a sense of security because I don't have to worry about these getting loose on the drive. Its a great product that I hope will get many years use out of.
