Good solder from Amazon
I come from the old school and use end feed copper fittings. This solder is a good price, good product and solders well with flux. The mistake most people make is not to prepare the pipe and fittings properly. You need to clean the pipe and fittings with steel wool so that the outside of the pipe and the inside of the fitting is bright clean copper, smear flux on both surfaces and apply heat to the middle of the fitting until the solder melts and capillerates. Don't touch the joint for five minutes or there is a danger of movement a d a subsequent dry joint and a possible leak for the future. Remember, soldering means thinking cleanliness is next to godliness.I am a skilled electrical mechanical engineer by profession and was an on screen expert for BBC Watchdog and Rogue Traders for some years and subsequently sworn to honesty. I tend to research a product drilling down into the quality and value of the item before I buy. I am not paid for my reviews and have no personal gain from them. I have no difficulty recommending this item. What's not to like. Go buy!

Lead free solder
I only needed a small amount of solder to do a bit of plumbing. It did the job really well. Good melting point and my soldering skills which aren’t good weren’t affected by the solder.

Probably not suitable for delicate work
As per the headline as the listing photo doesn't really make clear the diameter of the solder. Probably more suitable for plumbing than for delicate work like Printed Circuit Boards etc - However, I've bought it, it does melt quite easily and so I'll try it out on some interconnecting conductor joints.

Good for potable water pipes
Used it, loved it, not much else to say. I would recommend it

It is solder. It works.
Carried out a lot of replacement of pipework with this solder. You can't really go wrong with it unless you are one of Jim Hensons creations in which case I would recommend not using a blow torch as you may catch fire.

Good solder
Good solder, quite expensive for the size of reel though, can get 500g (which is double the amount) for the same price, thought I would give it a try, flows good, ideal for plumbing
