Amazon Basics HDMI Coupler 2 count (Pack of 1), 29 x 22mm, Black

You don't realise you need one of these......until you do. MY HDMI ports on the back of my TV are a right pain to get at, the wall mounting bracket is right in the way. I've got an Amazon Fire Cube plugged into one of them, and I wanted to set up a new Amazon Firestick for my son. So I just unplugged the HDMI cable out of the Fire Cube, leaving the other end plugged into the TV, attached this little HDMI connector onto the end of the cable, then plugged the Firestick into the other end of the adapter. Works a treat, no messing about behind the TV, it just works. Great bit of kit.

WiFi connection to TV firestick frequently lost, used this connector to an hdmi extension lead allowing me to move firestick a yard away from the tv, so far 3 days of use & WiFi connection has been faultless, not a single loss of connection. TV picture is perfect and both the sockets of the connector are of a firm but not overly tight fitting. Next day delivery with prime, good build quality, I highly recommend this item for any purpose. Easy 5 stars. Update: 2 months use and still perfect.

Absolutely fantastic and works great. No signal issues and I’m using it to join a 10m with a 5m hdmi cable. Good build quality and just plug and play.Would of got 5 stars but could not forgive the wasteful packageing. There was only 2 adapter and simple bag would be fine to pack them in but instead amazon have decided to display them in a large blow moulded inner case and then display that in a rigid cardboard box. Then add the postage box etc and you get a lot of wasted materials for something which is very small and a simple Jiffy bag does the exact same job. I'm always harping on about how great the Amazon Basics range of products. They are often the cheapest brand but also the most accurate and reliably advertised brand.This coupler also doesn't disappoint!I purchased this to extend a HDMI cable and to give me an easily accessibly split point in order to easily fit a HDMI capture card when required without needing to keep pulling out the TV everytime. It worked a treat.I knew that Amazon Basics wouldn't let me down, my only concern was whether fitting this would sacrifice some kind of visual quality. This was not the case and I can confirm that the coupler can pass through 4K HDR 60hz without any issues or stuttering whatsoever.I would recommend this to anybody and can also endorse it for use with higher end gaming use.

If you try to connect any HDMI appliances which are not run of the mill or more than one appliance these are so simple but absolutely vital. I run a firestick through a sony 7.1 receiver plus other items and these are a MUST HAVE!!!

Only needed one but now have spare. Connected between wall mounted tv (that could not accomodate any back protrusion to the wall) via a 1mtr hdmi cable to adaptor and amazon firestick discreetly velcro'd inline with metal shelf bar below tv. No bulky/clumsy in your face connection. Works well.

Simple and small units that do exactly what they’re made to do. I’ve used one, so far, to connect two HDMI cables to provide the length I needed to connect a media player to my TV. I didn’t want to buy a new longer cable when I already had some. The quality of the video and audio is not effected at all - I can’t notice anything wrong or a downgrade of the A/V quality, so I’m pleased.

I needed a HDMI connector quickly for a project I was working on, but could not afford the lead time shipping similar items from China. AliExpress has a very similar item that is a fraction of the price, looks almost identical. However, as I needed it immediately, I guess this is what you pay for convenience. Items works as intended no issued joining two male HDMI cables. Though a point to note, the sockets are rotated differently on each side. One is long side down the other is long side up. Does not effect performance but just worth mentioning in-case this may cause you an issue?
