My long haired Chihuahua has allergies and her little nose is always getting dry and chapped looking so I bought this hoping it would work I put it on in the morning and then before bed and her little nose is no longer chapped and scaly and the fact that it's made out of all natural ingredients is best for me because now I know my dog's safe I highly recommend it

I originally bought this for my chihuahua mix, as she was always chewing on her paws. We managed to get her itchiness under control with an allergy chew, so I've had this sitting around for a while with no use. Now, my 17 year old dachshund has had to be in diapers for quite a while due to his age. The diapers started to irritate his skin, even with washing him with gentle soap. He was constantly trying to chew on his skin or scratch it, to where he doesn't have any fur on his belly on one side and his skin is red. I put this wax on him last night and he immediately stopped digging and scratching. Put it on again today and he is still leaving it alone. My baby's skin and fur finally will have a chance to heal.

I got this for my 13 year old dachshund. He stinks usually and has dry skin. I thought this balm would help, but it’s okay. I mean he enjoys me massaging it on his paws and skin but it doesn’t keep him moisturized any longer than 10 minutes or less. I would save your money and try to find another product.

This product works great! I applied it twice per day saw results after the first day. His nose was completely healed on the third day. My dog’s nose was VERY dried and cracked. There were large separated pieces sticking up. This product works fast!

So, my dog doesn't hate much, but she hates this product, too bad. I think I'm going to put some in my fingers next time and try it that way.Pros: she was very dehydrated and sunburned from visiting a friend. It was in the triple digits and the UV index was about 11 everyone had issues. Her nose cracked, bled, lost all the fur and her skin turned white. Yeah scary, but within about 3 days it was mostly healed and kept improving. It also is great a preventative during and extreme weather. Also, I don't smell anything, thank goodness.Cons: obviously she doesn't like it. And the lid isn't very tight so the base will slip off. But that's has nothing to do with it's effectiveness.I don't care if it makes her nose soft. I want her to be healthy and it works.

My dog has had a dry rough nose over the past few months. This has his nose nice and soft after 2 days of use.

My oldest, largest dog has always had dry, cracked pads and I haven't found anything that really works for her. I think the issue is that she has paw pads that are at least twice as thick as any dogs I've every had or seen. They are ridiculous.I recently found this balm and have started putting it on her. Because of her age and arthritis, there is no issue finding a time where she is conked out on the couch for a long enough period that I can apply this without worrying she is going to lick it or get up and walk around. I don't think we've been trying this long enough to notice a difference yet though.The balm comes in a chapstick like container that is paper on the outside and plastic inside (the balm tube and cover). I find that disappointing. The image description states that this this is "climate conscious" and that the packaging is "responsibly sourced" to "reduce environmental impact." There is no plastic that is good plastic.I do appreciate that the scent is very light and disappears as the balm is rubbed in. I am very sensitive to smell and this doesn't bother me at all.Overall, I like the product so far and it seems affordable.
