I have a previous model but like this one better. Filter bag is to clean and the light for UV is really helpful. Works great. Brings the tank back to clear in less time than its older version (3 to 4 hours).

This works well. My 20 year old tanks seams finally gave out, and I had to replace my aquarium… As a result of this, I had only the old contents for biomass, with new substrate…I was concerned my Chinese algae eater not having enough food. So I fed higher than normal feeding concentrations, which resulted in an algae bloom. Picture was taken on day four, after installing the UV filter. completely eradicated the cloudy water algae bloom in four days. Substrate filter plus massively oversized biowheel allowed it to happen, but this shut it down in four days.

I recently installed the Coospider Repta 200GPH Aquarium Filter with UV feature in my 55-gallon tank, and I couldn’t be more pleased with its performance! This filter has been an absolute game changer for maintaining the health and clarity of my aquarium. First off, the pump works exceptionally well. It delivers a steady flow of water, which is vital for creating good water circulation and ensuring that my fish and plants are thriving. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the overall water quality since I started using this filter. It effectively removes debris and keeps the water moving, which is essential for my aquatic environment. One of the standout features of this filter is the UV sterilization. I can confidently say that it has kept my tank crystal clear! Ever since I added the Coospider Repta filter, I’ve noticed a significant reduction in algae growth and any suspended particles. The water looks vibrant and healthy, making it a joy to look at. My fish seem happier too, swimming around in such a pristine environment. Installation was straightforward, and the unit itself is compact enough to fit nicely in my tank without taking up too much space. Update 12/11/2024: The pump did its job great at first. However I noticed the flow had stopped from the pump. The motor has completely stopped working after only 4 months of use. No blockages or anything. We have always maintained and cleaned the unit per the instructions. I was really impressed while it was working as our tank was very pristine. But for the motor to stop working after only 4 months is a huge concern. I would advise to look elsewhere as this seems to be a dud. Update 12/14/2024. Customer service was prompt in returning my inquiry for support. I was notified a replacement unit will be sent out shortly. Will update accordingly. May 2025. We did receive a replacement unit. 4 months later it has already failed. The light has stopped working in only a few months. The second unit we had purchase the pump has failed. Two units and both failed in less than a few months. Huge disappointment. Absolutely do not recommend. Extreme poor quality.

this is an amazing pump. Been trying to find a good pump for my 10 gal. tank and the two before weren’t powerful enough. This tank cleared up my tank so fast. I deep cleaned before putting the new pump in and used 1/2 clean water and 1/2 old water and my water is crystal clear! I’m excited to see how long I can go without cleaning the tank now. And with the uv filter I think it’s perfect for my glo tank! I have t cleaned the pump yet my i’m thinking it should be fairly easy. The suction cups are strong too. Super easy to install and put together, price is spot on, hardly any noise!

Product worked great when it worked. I've used it and in less than a year it stopped working. Frustrated with the product.

Got this just yesterday, so very early into using it. The instructions were pretty good, and made setup much easier than having to figure it out myself as other people have mentioned there were no instructions. I am not savvy with putting things together, at all, so this did take me about 45 minutes to set up. Anyone with a better ability to build things and have good spatial awareness would likely get this done in 20 minutes or less. Getting the hoses on was quite easy, and I appreciate the screw pieces to make sure they stay put. Unfortunately the hoses are quite stiff and not easy to manipulate, so you do need to work around that a bit when doing setup, especially if your tank is really close to the wall like mine is. I’m using this for a 20 gal I want extra filtration in, and when starting up on full power as suggested, it DEFINITELY is strong. My whole tank was like a whirlpool haha. After water flowed in and out I was easily able to lower the flow to my liking and for my small fish so they’re not knocked around. The amount of space for filer media was fantastic and I’m excited I can use all that space now. The UV light works as well and will hopefully last a bit, but it comes with a replacement and instructions so that’s good. The rain attachment for outflow is great at dissipating the flow of water, and even has a controllable knob so you can have more/less flow! Suction cups for the attachments for inflow and outflow seem to be holding quite well. I wet the suction cups before putting them on, so I think that helps. Overall seems to be great quality, silent (no sounds at all), and my fish seem to like it so I’m a happy camper!

The pump I got runs for 20 seconds then it stops…. Any one with advice? The pump is primed, the pipes are the correct length no kinks.

Is not good is starting work for 30 sec then stop for another 10 min

This filter is for the aquarium market in the US only due to the electric safety issues ie the voltage needed is lower than the uk Plug it in and blow the fuse and some smoke on unit You should have a warning ⚠️ to say USA 🇺🇸 Only

Top electrical circuit board has popped of & water entered seal after turning on - twice. Instructions followed both times & happened twice.
