Patanjali Cow Ghee 500 g

The ghee is really great in flavor and texture. It definitetly is pure as there was no taste of vegetable oil or dalda to it. The fragrance of the ghee is great. I am using the ghee to cook a lot of different variety of dishes and all have turned out really amazing. I highly recommend the patanjali ghee.

Patanjali ghee is very fresh and delicious. I use ghee for puja and for cooking &eating. It is very tasty. It took a bit to get here- about 30days- but no problem, now that I know, I just ordered another already. Ordered 1ltr, is packaged in a plastic foil bag, in a box, and then it was wrapped and taped all over and shipped direct from India. So, interesting package, but it is here and seems fine. This ghee is more liquid than what Im used too- very liquid. Perhaps different process? Smells less fragrant than others, but same overall flavor, just slightly less strong. Nice yellow colour. I transferred all of it to glass jars. A tip for you- cut the top and bottom off of the bag, roll it up lengthwise, then squeeze out from the center to the ends to get all of the product out.

These go bad very quickly even if unopened. You must use them right away. I have tried several, they are very old and all cans are very bend and beat up.

Taste is good but the smell is very gamy and strong which a bit off putting. Came sealed and nicely packaged

Excellent authentic ghee made by traditional Indian clay pot method from pure hand drawn milk and solar heat and slow gravity sedimentation. Essentially a crude sedimentation crack of butter, with only trace tiny amounts of hydrated milk solids and sugars. So no microorganisms or fermentation ( unlike cheese), but still mild buttery taste and smell and long shelf life like olive oil.

I've ordered this ghee several times. Packaging good quality of ghee is very good if you like the type of ghee strained well, which I do! Packaging could be better . Fell into carpeted floor from 12 inch height and lid popped off. typically I push lid on very tightly however can was received in dented shap and this affects how tight the lid can actually seal. Be aware and make informed choice how to proceed.
