Worth it
I love using this little light ring when I'm shooting macro! Depending on what you're trying to photograph, the light can be a bit harsh and cause a glare, but for some subjects it's great.

cheaper alternative that works great.
The build and material indeed feel cheap, but it works perfectly. Considering how much we can save (compared to how expensive the original Olympus accessories are), this more affordable alternative is worth 5 stars.

If you buy the camera…buy this at the same time
I should’ve bought this when I bought the camera. Don’t be me. Buy this. If you use the microscope / macro lens option you’ll thank yourself that you did.

Good price. Does the job.
Even though they are primarily action/sports cameras, the Olympus Tough TG5,6 and 7 all have outstanding macro capability. Why? - I don't know, but they do. Since my wife is more into flowers and insects as opposed to white-water rafting, buying this flash, at what seemed a ridiculously low price, extended the use of my cameras. Very easy to use - replace the lens ring with this, done, and it works well. I'll probably buy a couple more.(I'll post some photographs of insects and flowers when I return to Montenegro.)

Direction on site confusing. It sasy look for application settings in menu. Could not find applications settings in menues.Was able to activate without opening menu. Like the two levels of flash. Better than built in flash
