Lemon and vanilla Oreo with no chocolate. The cookie looks in appearance just like original Oreos. It is biscuit size and can be eaten in three parts, just like original Oreos, or crunched into for that true lemon flavor and crunchy texture. Freshness is a quality I count on with these cookies. and personally addictive, so I limit how many I will eat. While the calorie content is on the packaging along with carbohydrates and additives. Again, as with any sweet, self-control is imperative. It is a challenge if you love lemon!

I bought these out of curiosity, thinking, “How weird could a lemon Oreo really be?” Answer: dangerously good. It’s like the Oreo family went on vacation, got a little wild, and came back with a citrusy cousin who steals the spotlight at every party.The lemon creme is tangy and sweet without being overwhelming, and somehow it makes the cookies feel… refreshing? (Yes, I just called cookies refreshing.) They’re the kind of snack you tell yourself you’ll eat “just one” of, only to realize the sleeve is gone and you’re googling whether Amazon delivers more by drone.If regular Oreos are the dependable best friend, lemon Oreos are the fun, quirky one who talks you into karaoke on a Tuesday. 10/10 would buy again… assuming I don’t eat them all before writing this review.

I wish I didn't like these so much. They are delicious. They go great with tea. The lemon is lovely with the vanilla cookie. The package was in date and fresh when it arrived if any were broken we didn't notice or care because we were too busing devouring them.

Docked a star as when I bought them, they cost $5.19 and I saw them about a dollar cheaper in the grocery store a few days later but didn’t want the hassle of returning them for a few cents. Now I see they are priced on Amazon for closer to the grocery store price. Cost aside, people LOVED these at our two lemon themed parties this weekend and that was with there also being two kinds of lemon meringue pie that were both finished off, fresh baked lemon scones, delicious little lemon cupcakes, lots of lemon cakes (one would have been plenty as it turned out), a lemon birthday cake, real lemon Italian ice, and two kinds of lemon candy plus another kind of lemon cookie. I really didn’t anticipate people devouring these Oreos like they did. The lemon cookies I got from a boutique store also got finished off but for one little cookie. We had around 40 people and one box was just right, though. Oh, and these were handy to have out early as one guest was diabetic and asked if he could have one at the start of the party as he was feeling light-headed. Nite how many were eaten before the lemon meringue pies even were started.

These are my favorite Oreos! I'm not a huge chocolate fan, but do love anything sweet and a bit tangy (like lemon meringue pie). Pepperidge Farms makes a delicious lemon cookie, but they're a stretch for my retirement budget. These are nearly as good and much more affordable! I like to let them soften up a bit, it seems to bring the flavor out even more. 😻 Give them a try yourself!

I hesitate to order bagged cookies over the internet. They so often can be a crumbled, broken mess if not sturdily enclosed. I was so very happy to find these shipped in a thick box that left little room for jiggling and was sturdy enough to resist crushing. As to the cookie: A tasty lemony filling in between crunchy sandwich cookies. Hard to stop at one.

I wanted to love them but they missed the mark with their weak lemon flavor.If only they had added a tad more lemon flavor, it would’ve been a winner and I would’ve been a repeat customer for as long as they offered them. Oh well…
