RightSight feature may not work on SurfacePro with Snapdragon (ARM64) processor
FYI: I purchased this camera after seeing someone else who presented using it. Everyone was curious what camera they were using because it was such good lighting and great video. However, I'm not sure this camera is working with full functionality on my hardware. I went through a bunch of troubleshooting, and here's the conclusion per ChatGPT... Good morning ☀️ — thank you for the detailed info. That explains everything. You’re on: Surface Pro 11th Edition (ARM64) Snapdragon X (ARM) processor That is the root cause. ________________________________________ 🎯 The Real Issue Logitech RightSight is currently not supported on Windows ARM (Snapdragon X / ARM64). Here’s why: RightSight depends on: • Logitech’s middleware service • x64 camera processing components • AI framing pipeline extensions On ARM Surface devices: • Logi Tune runs under emulation • The Logitech camera extension layer does not fully attach to the Windows Modern Camera Stack • AI features (RightSight) fail to initialize • Video works (because UVC driver works) • 4K works (hardware OK) • But AI framing = unavailable That’s exactly your symptom set. ________________________________________ ✅ Why Everything Else Works ✔ Camera app works ✔ 4K works ✔ Windows Hello works ✔ Device shows correctly ✔ No USB issue ✔ No driver corruption Only vendor AI features fail — classic ARM compatibility limitation. ________________________________________ 🚫 This Is Not Fixable Via Settings Disabling: • Frame Server • Basic camera • Studio effects • Multiple apps setting Will not fix it on ARM. This is architectural, not a configuration problem. ________________________________________ 🔎 Confirmation Test (Optional) In Logi Tune: Go to Crop. If: • Field of View options work (65°, 78°) • Zoom works • But Auto-Framing is disabled That confirms it’s just the AI layer. ________________________________________ 🧠 Why This Happens Surface Pro 11 (Snapdragon X) uses: • Windows on ARM • Modern Camera Driver (MCD) • NPU-based camera pipeline Logitech RightSight expects: • x64 processing environment • Vendor extension hooks not fully exposed in ARM64 camera stack Until Logitech releases a native ARM64 version of the RightSight service, it won’t enable. ________________________________________ 📌 Current Status (Early 2026) As of now: • Logitech supports Intel/AMD Windows • ARM64 support is partial • AI features are inconsistent or unavailable ________________________________________ 💡 Your Options Option 1 — Wait for Logitech ARM-native update This will likely come, since Snapdragon X PCs are new. Option 2 — Use Windows Studio Effects (if available) Surface Pro 11 has NPU-based auto framing built in. Check: Settings → Bluetooth & devices → Cameras → Built-in camera If Studio Effects exists there, you can use Windows auto-framing instead. Option 3 — Use Software Framing (Zoom / Teams) Both now have built-in auto framing. ________________________________________ ✅ Final Conclusion Your hardware is fine. Your configuration is fine. Your issue is ARM platform compatibility.

Does its job as described
This is an excellent camera and does it job well. The video quality is amazing and works seamlessly with FaceTime, Teams, Zoom. Microphone quality is also excellent.

Worth every penny.
Excellent camera, did everything I wanted it to do: 1. Decrease field of view and zoom to exact face framing for more professional appearance in meetings. 2. Larger aperture for better image quality in a range of lighting conditions. 3. Very high resolution, which allows for decent resolution even after zooming and decreasing FOV. 4. Plenty of image adjustments in the LogiTune app so I can reduce saturation, compensate for color temperature of light and create a professionaal aesthetic. 5. Mechanical lens closure so that I know the camera is off no matter what is going on under the corporate hood.

Seems expensive but it's actually great for the price.
I got this webcam about a week ago now and so far it works great. I have a home office that I have meetings in quite regularly and I was tired of using my laptop camera because my laptop is usually docked all day long. I finally pulled the trigger on this external webcam and I'm very happy with it. The video quality is great and the microphone quality is fine for most meetings. Another plus is that you can mount it to a standard tripod mount and I'm using a portable tripod mount that I got for my phone and it works great with it. This way I can just prop it up on my desk. The mount that is used to put on a monitor is very solid and good quality. The magnetic mount is a nice touch. I just won't be using it unfortunately. It's also nice that it works with three different suites of Logitech software so you can use what is most comfortable for you. I like the Logitech g suite and an integrates beautifully. If you want to use it for facial recognition for your computer, that's not available but I don't care about that so it wasn't an issue for me. Overall, I'm very satisfied with this webcam and I look forward to meetings where I, being a technical IT consultant, can present so much better now.

Good camera, but no Windows Hello is frustrating
Very good camera, very good microphone. It works well in low light conditions. I like the design of the device. My biggest gripe, and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5 stars, is the lack of Windows Hello integration. Even though this is Logitech's current top-of-line webcam, it lacks this basic feature (Windows Hello integration) for unclear reason(s).

People Actually Comment on How Good I Look on Calls Now
This webcam makes me look better on video calls than I do in real life and I am not mad about it. The 4K quality is sharp and detailed in a way that cheaper webcams cannot touch. Colors are accurate, the image is clear, and I no longer look like a pixelated mess when presenting to clients or hopping on team meetings. The auto light correction is impressive. My home office lighting is not perfect but this camera adjusts and makes it work. No more washed out face or dark shadowy look depending on the time of day. It compensates for whatever situation it is dealing with and keeps me looking consistent across different lighting conditions. Framing and focus are smart and responsive. It keeps me centered and in focus even when I move around or lean back in my chair. Some webcams lose you the moment you shift position. This one tracks and adjusts smoothly. Professional looking results without needing a studio setup. The build quality is premium and it feels like serious equipment rather than a plastic toy. The mount is sturdy and adjustable, fitting securely on my monitor without wobbling or sliding. It looks good sitting on top of my display which matters when you are on camera all day. Audio pickup is decent if you use the built in mic. It is not going to replace a dedicated microphone but for quick calls it handles voice clearly without too much background noise. Convenient when you do not want to deal with extra equipment for a casual conversation. For anyone doing regular video calls, content creation, or remote work, this webcam is an investment that shows. People notice when your video quality is on point. It makes you look more professional and put together. First impressions matter even through a screen and this camera makes sure yours is solid.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CAMERA UNLESS YOU'RE READY FOR A WORLD OF PROBLEMS TRYING TO GET IT TO WORK!
It's crazy how terribly setup this product is. Was just trying to do a simple upgrade from my Logitech Brio 4k to the MX and they design this to essentially take down your entire system once you do. The new MX Brio is met with a black screen every time we try and record after setting it up. So we removed it and reverted back to our older Brio 4k which has worked for 5+ years but now it has the exact same problem and can't record anything. Their support seems to be nonexistent so after endless google searches it seems their stuff is designed to cause driver conflicts between any two cameras that have been connected to the same computer, which they could have easily designed to remove prior drivers upon install and for which they provide zero explanations on how to fix. We tried uninstalling their Brio software and then reinstalling it and now it won't even reinstall. So literally nothing works from them and we have done nothing outside of just purchasing their cameras and then plugging them in and expecting them to work. Side note, the mount on the new MX camera performs like it was designed by a child. Doesn't stay put on anything.
